Also I just lost my buffalo a weird way. I called mechanic for buffalo and he brought my entity. Go into garage now ive got duplicate entity no buffalo -_- does anyone have one i could get please?

YEA BIG PROBLEM THO, POLICE CARS CAN NOT BE DRIVEN INTO GARAGES OR LSC, SO NO TRACKER. also dont think theres a method of duping them any way. unless you just wanted to drive it in that session.

 

thats why i was asking about modding cars w ifruit, afterward to get the mods you have to drive into lsc, correct? any other way yo get em on? meaning police cars probably cannot be modded this way.

Yeah matthln I was worried about that too haha, but I figured I would be safe since when I exited and reentered iFruit it came up again.

 

Yeah, you need to drive it in. I don't think this will work on cop cars though, since when I used to have my Sheriff SUV it never came up in iFruit in the first place.

 

Should work with any car that you can enter the garage and repair but cannot mod beyond buying insurance? I'm not sure if the buggies are included in that because I never tried it. If you can drive it in and get insurance, then it might work. They may have patched it though since buggies are buyable legit now, in theory this would only work if the car errored out iFruit. Space docker might work if it's not internally classified as another buggy the way Franklin's Buffalo is classified as a regular Buffalo (you don't need to use iFruit to mod his BTW, it's LSC safe - and worth 110 grand modded )

 

TL;DR you'll have to experiment with it since I don't have the docker or any other glitch cars besides the

Whadda ya know. Seems some of the glitched vehicles can actually be modded once in MP. I loaded up iFruit and got a message that my... unmentionable vehicle was 'type unknown', and replaced with a Buffalo (slot before it in my garage). In the app I was able to do all the mods you would associate with a Buffalo - color, added BP tires, custom plate, etc, and put in the order. Then in the game I got a LSC text to come in, the mods for my were in. Drove in, paid my bill - behold, my now has BP tires. Not sure which other vehicles this will work for.

So what all would this work with? Dunebuggies? And I wish Snell would tell us his SP2MP method.Dune buggies don't work with the app...

And you don't need to drive the car into LSC, just keep it in your garage and submit the order and it'll get done.

 

And thanks to JET for helping me get my dune buggy the way I wanted it.

so even though i still (hopefully) have my cars, havent checked yet today, i havent been motivated to play the game its like i have this little pang knowing that at any possible time i could end up in apt or garage or that something ranodm happens and my mechanic just doesnt come...OR even worse is I dont wanna bring in em into public sessions at all in case people report me to R* and they do an insurance wipe so basically just updating to say even if you were f*cked over, those of us aren't f*cked over yet theyre still just lubing us up slowly so they enjoy it more and we enjoy it less and less..mainly just people who had police garages..anyways props to those continuing the trade, but Im all burnnned out

I've been using her only in my solo sessions. Right now she's in storage at MMI for if they ever make her a legit car.

 

Hearse can actually be modded I thought? Would be interesting to see what happens with that.

 

E: Lol knew someone would get pissed off.

E2: yeah I feel your pain jimmyjoneser, sucks even more for someone like you because not only did you not harm anyone you were actively helping everyone else out. It sucks all the harmless cars got sucked up by this update too, and yeah I can see an insurance wipe coming with the next patch. It'll probably start dynamically checking the mechanic and MMI whenever you use them, and deleting from there.

edit - YES I'm still in bizzness gonna do some missions with my rides now and enjoy the sh*t out of them I still havent done a single mission with any modded police ride. Time to pull an all nighter, least I can say there was good times then

appreicate it bro, I'm set to last session and I drove way far away from my apt( already updated and all that jazz still got rides, just mad paranoid theyll be taken .and I only join invite only to make sure that people being in the spot you're trying to spawn to doesn't affect it..but yeah if you wanna do some missions i'm down lol. I'm probably gonna start joining the game that way every time though, just to avoid any possible chance of being in apt

My vehicles are fine so far. I've had them destroyed, delivered, stored in my garage, delivered again, and done jobs and they're all still okay. I have NOT entered my apt/garage at all on my main, but I have entered my garage on my second character, and my main's vehicles where okay. I also went in to someone else's apartment while on my main and when I left, my vehicles were fine. And I heard that you can go to your apartment and garage so long as your cars are destroyed and at Mors. If you think your spawn location is set to propert or that your last save was at your property, you can have a friend invite you to a job while in SP.

Yeah, I can confirm the MMI storage=safe thing. I blew up my and toured my garage yesterday, all my other cars were safe. Was then able to call for the car from MMI and it went right into my mechanic/PV inventory, safe and sound and callable. Just blow up the stuff you're worried about before you quit every night, then if it spawns you in the garage you'll be safe.

I just the mechanic to call, and then I leave it on the street, then I call him for another one, the vehicles always stay. I dono why you guys wanna go in your garage so bad, Id rather not pay insurance ever unless I need to
edit - in fact if you guys keep yours at mors, you can claim them all back if you'd rather be able to have them delivered at will without the explosions haha. Nothing will happen to 'em as long as you don't enter, but in the long run it is safer I spose in case of a freak respawn

man Patch 1.06 SUCKS, My whole PS is getting major crashes just from going into stores and doing normal sh*t. Is it because I still have my cars I wonder??

Well it's not really a matter of wanting to see the garage, because like you say the mechanic list is always safe storage. It's just extra insurance, just in case you spawn at home for some glitchy reason. You're right that it's not practical for some stuff (Buzzards are 25 grand I heard) but I'm willing to pay a few hundred bucks for the added security for cheaper vehicles.

 

@Premier - sweet, nice to see that glitch might help some people out.

Well I was lucky some guy gave me a billion GTA$, so money ain't an issue lol. Besides the Riot Truck insurance is like 800 or something, and sometimes I see them at no charge. Probably because I let other ppl destroy it.

Yeah I meant the inconvenience is having to go to Mors everytime you wanna switch instead of straight delivery, I think you can get delivery from mors, but you'd have to destroy the one you have out to switch so it's a bit of a pain. I see goodness to both sides, as Mors provides security against freak spawns like I said in last post, and I might switch some of my most special rides there for added protection and forego the ease of switching haha. Buzzard I'd rather get delivered and probably PS store glitch on arrival just 'cause I wouldn't have to go to Mors on missions, itd be Pegasus style hah. I'm sure theres a way around that too though

Yeah do what I do, call MMI and then when they spawn it, join a mission and quickly back out, your Buzzard or w/e will respawn near you. And the good thing about it is if someone destroys it you don't have to wait the 3min for the damn Mechanic, just do the job thing and its quick.
