How do you get a head start in bicycle races? And sticky bomb before

I've seen people do this multiple times, they start pedaling their bikes before it even says go, and I'm not so sure how to do it yet. Anyone know how to head start in bicycle races?

 

I've tried it multiple times now and still don't know how to do it yet.

 

I also think they patched the sticky bomb thing so you can still throw it early... before weapons are enabled... but you can't throw it before it says "go" anymore.

Not sure about the sticky bombs. The bicycle head start seems like a glitch works on and off.
