In all honesty I thought you were going to make a legitimate well thought-out complaint thread up until you got to the part about not being able to easily make money legit in this game. If you can't see the reasoning behind the first 3 things you're complaining about then there's no point in "debating" about it. And if you can't even find how easy it is to make money in this game legit then you're probably not very good at it, or intelligent tbh since it's thrown right in your face.

Diction = saying words because they have a "stronger effect". Appeal to pathos.

ad hominem = attack on person "ex: your idea is wrong because ur [email protected][email protected][email protected]"

 

And given the timeframe between my post and yours it would've been impossible for me to write that at a standard of say.. anything below 150 words per minute while googling terms to make me appear intelligent. Of which I am only capable of typing 100-130 wpm.

 

 

If you can't see the reasoning behind the first 3 things you're complaining about

I see the reasoning behind it and it is reasoning that would be fine in some games. But it's not in the spirit of GTA. Not the reason it's implemented, but how. Griefing could be a major problem in GTA but there's no real way for the current system to discern between who is griefing and who is genuinely playing the game. If someone's getting attacked and they destroy someone's personal vehicle, they still have bad sport points added up. Repeat with that same guy just calling back his vehicle and eventually that person is a bad sport. The reasoning could've been better served by putting in a jail-type system where if someone destroys a single person's personal vehicle 2-4 times within a 30 minute period they're put in an area away from the defender for 5-10 minutes. Giving the defender time to escape and allows them both to carry on.

 

 

And if you can't even find how easy it is to make money in this game legit then you're probably not very good at it.

I can make 100k-200k a session easily. It's mainly the lack of consistency. No good way to "grind".

And look at your argument about insurance regardless of this aspect not pushing for the realism of a "hit and run" scenario where you'll never see that person again let alone pay their insurance, you don't seem to understand the type of player griefing it would allow/encourage if players didn't have some kind of drawback to randomly blowing up people's cars. Especially with tanks in this game.

 

Not even gonna touch on the missions part, because I don't know what the hell you use vehicles for if it isn't to get places.

Spellcheck makes it insurence as it's listed as an acceptable term for some reason and it's the most used on this browser. Probably because of other residents. And I already proved that the time between reading your post and posting mine weren't enough to google terms.

It's not realistic to have your car magically spawn at the impound lot in an instant. Letting your car stay where you left it would be better. Or at least give you a time to get to your vehicle before it is impounded.

TDM is a very consistent large payout when you're actually good at this game (which isn't very hard) apparently you aren't. And if you played with more than 1 person or are high enough level you can just have different people call contacts, hell even on my own I can get good enough missions from lester and martin at a time to make a good amount of cash, very consistent means of making money.

If anything the only complaint I have about being killed by cops is that you don't get busted in MP they just shoot to kill at 1 star.

 

With auto-aim (which I assume you play on as do most apparently) you don't need to blow up someone's car to kill them lol. Granted this isn't to say they can't/won't implement a system to allow you to freely kill a vehicle if it has done damage to you.

I believe that the missions part you seemed to miss out in your quote was a consistent enough flow of cash as is TDM (again when you're actually good at this game) also there's spawn protection for your other concern, although I have no actual idea if it protects you from being run over, never really noticed. Again though you don't need to blow up a car to kill people inside it.

 

Just because a game mechanic is annoying to you doesn't make it flawed or "wrong" lol.
