It was a "Wut" in exclamation. Given the latest patch was MEANT to sort this sh*t out.

Did you even read the patch notes, the latest patch was to fix bugs that caused items from being deleted, the issue at hand is it loading older data/not loading at all, not cars/items getting deleted.

 

Interesting.

 

I think I'd classify losing items I purchased,or, having them be deleted (essentially) - is pretty much EXACTLY the issue 1.05 was meant to stop.

 

Anyhow, I digress.

The items are still there, they aren't deleted, the game is just loading old cloud saves/not loading any at all.

I'll reserve judgement on all you post however.

I never had any cloud issues, and I could even play the game after the second day of release. I woke up after 7 hours of sleep , look into my garage and still 4-5 duped cars are gone for good. As I can see there are a few people complaining in this thread too. Don't really know what is going on but cloud resets to a point 2 weeks ago is very doubtfull in my opinion.

I just checked mine and I've only lost my window tinting on the Coquette so that's fine

 

But when I called my mechanic to deliver it he delivered my Entity, I did go to my garage again to check and my coquette was still there so maybe that was just a little error

Apologies if anyone has already pointed this out, but how ironic is it that for weeks they've been telling people who lost progress that "if it's lost, it's gone, sorry we can't retrieve it from the cloud", and now here we have a new bug that's effectively retrieving prior save states from the cloud? Oops.

 

Maybe what they should've said in response to people losing progress was "sorry we aren't going to take the time to retrieve your progress because there are far too many of you who are victims of this, and if we did we'd end up doing nothing but that for the forseeable future. Deal with it."

 

All in all I find the irony of them using the very cloud they mock in-game as their save system quite humorous.

This whole empty session thing is having me a little pissed I guess, because the games working for me and everything it's just I can't find any decent near full games.

 

It's definitely something to do with the game not putting players into already existing lobbies and instead creating more. A lot of people cycle in and out of lobbies to maintain their fullness constantly from races, jobs and what ever else. It's not that the player count is low it's that the already existing lobbies aren't being grouped with other people, seems like the most recent patch broke it as I was good for a day with the patch and then suddenly last night real late it started putting me in near empty lobbies over and over.

 

I guess you could take advantage since a lot of dicks aren't playing right now or aren't in your server, I might just go enjoy some sailing..
