Rdr and GTA 4 weren't hyped up as much as GTA 5 and their multiplayer wasn't advertised as a standalone secondary game. In the future, GTA online, I BELIEVE, before more butthurts try to say I'm wrong,will overshadow a lot of multiplayer games during its span especially if converted to nextgen

Seriously, they basically gave everyone the free CE garage that didn't already buy it and plus cars, sh*t ton of ammo and weapon mods. I enjoy said 500k thoroughly.

I've learned a lot of French playing GTA Online, even if the game is woeful and disappointing in every other way. Rosetta Stone costs more than 60$ so i'm not upset with my purchase. I even learned a little German.

Doesn't matter how much this game or any of their other games were 'hyped', the simple fact is that it's not Rockstar's first attmept at an online game. They have had experience doing this before, and this time they screwed up. But hey, even DiNero made a few bad movies, right?

 

IMO, Rockstar bit off more than they could chew with GTA:O. I like the game, don't get me wrong, but when they're more interested in selling cash cards than fixing the glitches that makes those cash cards useless, you gotta wonder where their heads are at.
