The way things are, at some point in the not too distant future, we're all going to be rich and bored, with nothing left to buy. So I thought up some ways we could spend our cash, and keep the game fun for longer.

VACATIONS: A great way to blow some earned GTA$, would be to take a trip away from the mayhem in San Andreas. You could purchase tickets online, and travel to a beach resort for an hour and try surfing, head to an alpine resort and try some skiing and snow boarding. Head to the strip in Las Venturas and try your luck gambling, or head on a hunting/fishing trip with your crew or friends. All destinations would have something new to offer. You could purchase souvenirs while there. You could go for a night or splash out and spend a week (7 in day games).

DRUGS: To be able to manufacture and sell drugs in game. You could invest in different set ups, and sell different drugs. Players could be sellers, users or both. The drugs could have many different useful and burdening effects. Speed makes you go quicker, dope makes you chill so you are untouchable for 1 minute, some acid makes you fly and some makes you see through walls and some makes you see aliens, cocaine gives you dead eye, so on and so forth.

BLING: A great way to show off your wealth.

HORSES: To be able to buy a race horse, train it, and enter it in races. Races could be bet on, you can choose to ride the horse or watch. 16 player horse races, over different distances. You could name your horse, buy different jockey outfits. Different horses have different abilities, some are sprinters, some are stayers, some like to lead, some like to race from behind.

GAMBLING: Poker, slots, blackjack etc

AUCTIONS: Steal a car, and have the option to sell it at LSC for market value, or auction it where you could make more, or less obviously.

FUEL: I've never been on the fuel bandwagon, but I'm starting to think, it's not a bad way to waste some money. Your average car would get you about 3 or 4 laps around the entire map, before you had to top up somewhere.

ART / FURNITURE: Everybody's apartment looks the same, this would give us all that extra bit of individuality.

FUN ARCADES: With pay per play pool tables, mini golf, arcade games, bowling, water slides, table tennis, shoot the ducks, put the balls in the clowns mouth, all that sort of stuff.

So yeah!

Not bad suggestions, but you can almost count on Horse Tracks and Casinos, seeing as there is one of each very close to each other.

R* IMPLEMENTATION: You go to buy drugs. Seller sells drugs. Then kills you. Takes drugs and money. Laughs down mic. You magically respawn and shoot him as he drives away. His car gets hurt. You become Bad Sport.

R* IMPLEMENTATION: One gold chain. Cost: $1,000. Everyone wears it. ...Awkward!

With the fuel, it could be fun. Perhaps, we could cypher fuel from others players vehicles leaving them bone dry, forcing them to have to get their car towed to the petrol station.

I've got a few other ideas that I'll add to this shortly.

Regarding fuel, I've always thought that it wouldn't be so bad as long as a full tank lasted an hour in real-time. So if you stole a car, you might have to find a petrol station and fill up. But if you own a car, and get it from your garage, it will always have a full tank.

 

It wouldn't be such a hassle as people worry but it would be amusing to be in a high-speed chase with the fuel light blinking - or to see another player at a gas station, filling up.

Customization Im down with. Along with owning a garage and a crib at the same time. Perhaps allow for "vacation" houses... smaller houses away from the city near the northern bay or in the mountains, safe houses you can escape to when you are on the other side of the map.

 

I am on board with the drugs too... China town had a sweet mini game involving drug traffic. the prices of sh*t varies on the area and day (week even). I remember using my touch pad to flick over all that LSD for the $$$.

 

Really what this place needs is alongside of Gang Wars... Random "events" or mini "heists"... Example... the "Gang war" that involves the rich house near vinewood... could be flushed out (one or 2 rooms) and could be a mini heist where you have to get to a safe inside with some 5000 cash in it. The npcs could have regular schedules (sleeping walking at day to a destination.. simple sh*t) and you have to plan a way to extract it without being detected or go in guns blazing. Have it difficult to hold on to...

 

Another one is perhaps add the interior to a few stores ... jewelry or such and have you have to break the glass case to get say 500 each then get a suffecient escape route... You couldnt gas the store or anything but perhaps go in at night with masks and baseball bats... or go in the day blasting.... or do a stick up (same scripting as the cashiers but bigger reward.. harder heist (security involved... other people ect.. alarms) ... tho i dont know how this idea is really (spending) money.... perhaps you have to spend money on supplies for the heist.

 

And a Heli pad on top of high tier cribs to store helicopters.... could cost you extra $$$ to get it....

Another idea for the fuel could be, regular, high octane, or nitro.

 

Fill up a Weeny Issi with nitro and blow it up.

 

Get your ride converted to gas perhaps, to save.

 

Carry a jerry can in the boot or trunk.

 

 

 

R* needs to find inventive ways of blowing cash if they want to keep this game alive.

Yeah these are awesome ideas. I've often thought about the end game to GTA:O, and honestly I think at one point we as players will have to accept that fate and just realize sometimes there only so much content and so much you can do with a game. Although by that time I feel like there will be so much more content, and maybe also have the ability to set higher bounties on players as a way waste money.

 

Fuel would be so awesome, but I think a majority of the playerbase would not be able to accept it and just go into shock. It would be a great money waster and add some amazing immersion. I mean imagine being chased around the map and you're running low on gas, or planes and jets only having so much to go to so far before needing to be landed and then you'd have to seek out fuel.

 

This game is brimming with potential, and I really hope Rockstar utilizes it because they can have something amazing here if they keep coming up with fresh ideas.

However, seeing the current state of the game, such things wont come anytime soon.

I am already afraid, they wont make the things come true which were announced long ago. And if things come, R* will implement them horribly.
