All I can say is try it at the apartment/garage of your choise like in the youtube videos and see if it works?

Don't have one posting from phone atm. I just searched youtube videos for RHino in garage and it was one of the first 5 I looked at.

It's do-able. I was wondering this too, Do it the exact same way. park it up against the side.

Then I just enter the garage and when I walk around all the way back to my garage the tank is gone. Am I doing something wrong?

yes, you are trying to glitch a tank into your garage to most likely end up griefing everyone you come across
