Worst Movie You've Ever Seen

Recommended Posts

Queenslayer

For me in terms of name, brand, budget and production the 2 worst have to be Star Wars: TLJ and that Justice League.

December 2017

TLJ was so bad and insulting I felt like walking out of a showing for the first time ever but I thought to myself that I paid for this sh*t so may as well see it out. The most memorable thing about the movie was when it ended.  Everyone shuffled out in stunned silence, like a funeral.  It was a funeral in truth - the night Star Wars died.

A few days later while attending the Christmas Market (one of the few never attacked by tolerant, peace-loving truck drivers) I was guilted into watching Justice League, which was still showing in theatres. Maybe just maybe it would get the Star Wars taste out of my mouth but HOLY sh*t. I didn't think superhero movies had gotten that bad.  It was so boring I fell asleep.  I hadn't watched a superhero movie at that point in a few years and I know why.  Uninteresting stories and characters, portrayed by overpaid, lazy, hypocrite actors with an agenda.  Flash and Arrow have their ham moments for sure but it blows DC Movies out of the water.

Netflix's Meet the Blacks. Its so bad I didn't even know its possible. Its literally not fun at all. Worst of the worst. Entire movie is just some bathetic racist "jokes" and I wonder if a 11 years old kid wrote this weird sh*t. Checked the reviews and i can't find single one person who liked it and thats not a wonder,

because its racist, cringy and painfully sh*tty "comedy".

I watched it to the end only because i didnt want that sh*t to be shown in my accounts continue watching list. 0/5.

What are the worst films you've seen that aren't considered so by many (No battlefield earth, the room, troll 2 etc)

-American Psycho 2 was pretty bad. The only good thing was a young Mila Kunis that was easy on the eyes.

-Fear. Mark Wahlberg has made some questionable role choices over the years and this was one them early in his career that I'm sure he'd rather forget.

-Pluto Nash. Oh Eddie Murphy how you fell from grace in the late 90s/early 00s.

-Every sequel of The Butterfly Effect. Not that the original was a masterpiece by any stretch, but i appreciated the originality and it's one of those movies I've watched a few times. Its sequels however were/are balls with the watchability of two hobos arguing over who smells the most like sh*t.

Off the top of my head, I'd say Spider-man 3, Space Jam and Titanic.

Oh, and James Cameron's Avatar, too.

Spider-Man 3

Having Harry Green Goblin, Sandman, AND Venom in the movie was just too damn much.

I've merged two topics ("Worst films you've ever seen that aren't the well-known worst") which were very similar and both topics can be covered in this topic.

Open Water. It's a movie about a couple of divers who get left behind, during a dive. The whole movie, they have close encounters with sharks and almost end up eaten.. Then, in the end,

  Hide contents

they get eaten by sharks

.......

God, I remember seeing that thrash in the cinema when it came out. Awful film.

The Last Airbender.

The actual cartoon series is one of the best I've seen though.

The Godfather Part I and II. I seriously hate these movies, pure garbage. Part III was the only good film out of the three.

See the source image

Normally it's third movie that gets ripped to shreds, but I'm curious why do you think Part I and Part II are "garbage"? I hope It's got something to do with the actual plots and not just because you thought they were "boring". Calling two of the most critically acclaimed and culturally influential movies ever made the "worst" without reason seems fishy to me.

Many movies in this thread don't really call for reasoning because most people know they're sh*t, but I've honestly never seen the word garbage used to describe a Godfather movie even the third entry which is often considered to be the weakest of the three.

Not saying you're wrong, but it would be interesting to hear your reasons is all..🙂

It's either Son of The Mask or the Carrie remake with Chloe Grace Moretz for me. Both betray the respective original works in their own ways, both try to ride on the success of their predecessors and both fail to be entertaining movies. I did find some enjoyment in Son of The Mask when I first watched it a long time ago however; the Carrie remake, on the other hand, has no redeeming qualities whatsoever - it's just schlock.

There are also the Friedberg-Seltzer movies (Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie etc.), but I don't count them as actual movies.

I f*cking hate Friedberg and Seltzer. Epic Movie is literally one of the most painful film experiences I've ever endured.
