Auto aim and free aim.

So until recently I admit I played with auto aim. But started to get kinda bored of how easy it is to kill and be killed. I have since switched to free aim, and yeah it takes a bit of getting used to, but it's so much more fun and competitive.

However I believed that people with auto aim couldn't mix with free aim players????

Dunno if this has anything to do with it, but I'm now bad sport for the first time, and in these bad sport lobby's, people are playing with auto aim and I'm on free aim. Are bad sport lobby's mixed aim modes? Or is it some kinda glitch/error in my game???

The game does not take into consideration what aim mode you are using. Its a personal preference what you want to use.

You can but you have to change your single player game to free aim, this will then carry over into Online.

Are you talking about online? I can't speak for bad sport servers, but the rest of GTA:O servers are organized by aim controls. If you're online and set at free aim, everyone in your server is set at free aim. If you're assisted aim, everyone is assisted aim.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. I've never encountered a mixed aim mode lobby before, and I believed it wasn't possible till today. When playing in this sh*tty bad sport lobby, everyone was on auto aim, and I'm using free aim. Needless to say I got my ass handed to me on several occasions.

 

And believe me, I DO know the difference of these aim modes and skill levels.

It does actually! Lobby's are made up of 1 aim mode only. If you play auto aim, everyone else it auto aim. If you play free aim, everyone else is free aim. The system matches aim modes to the lobby.

oh I was talking about bad sport cause OP was talking about bad sport, I was in a few mixed lobbies with free and auto and I knew this because I can see them locking on to cops and other AI while other people were calling me an auto aim phaggot

But I cant be sure is this is a glitch or it just doesnt take into consieration what aim you are using for bad sport lobbies, this is just what I've experienced so thats why I said that earlier. I could be wrong.

So you have been in mixed aim mode lobby's too?

That is my question, I thought it couldn't happen! But found out today that it does.

Wasn't sure if bad sport lobby allowed it, or if it was an error.

Glad to hear someone else has experienced a mixed aim lobby
