Bought a boat and now wants to get rid of it?

How do you get rid of it? I tried destroying it but it doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

yeah you can steal those anytime you want. i can't imagine it'd be useful in a mission.

But you have an infinite number of slots on your Pegasus list so you don't lose anything for having it no matter how useless it might be.

He meant if you just don't think about the boat then technically it is never going to get in your way. There is no physical location for it so if you don't want the boat then just don't call Pegasus for it. Its not that hard to understand.

The yacht is beast as a sniping platform. It's the only boat with a deck high enough to clearly see over. If you want to get rid of it as in be able to get another vehicle from pegasus then go find a new server and get something else. Other than that I'm not sure there is another way.

I bought a boat (jetmax). It is great for exploring the small islands. Almost everyone on here thinks that because you cant go 200MPH in it and you cant mod it, then why have it!

That fishing idea just gave me another idea. How about fishing can be one of the new past times (like golfing, tennis, etc.) and whatever you catch, you can take to the docks and sell for quick or easy cash? I think that would add more immersion to the game.

That would be beautiful, theyd just need to factor in things to do with them. I mean, for those whom like boats and use them for the sake of sailing its great, but i would appreciate a few extra features.

Not being able to enter yachts is downright retarded, but they're not useless. As someone said, they make excellent offshore shooting platforms. You're stuck with it.

thanks for posting this. I'd been thinking about saving for one after doing that CEO type assassination mission for lester. Sniped him from the shoreline, so didn't realize you couldn't go below the deck

 

Would've been even sweeter if the yacht had an interior, so your char could actually live on the yacht.

 

What a waste of a great opportunity R*. Something like this would've truly set you apart from the rest of the crowd

Second this 100%. It's little sandbox details like this that would make SP (and GTAO) go a long way. Despite the stimulus, ppl are becoming bored and/or quitting the game for other titles that have recently came out. All because there really isn't anything that immersive or addictive by means of gameplay online. I think if they added back some of the elements in SA like eating, gaining weight, body building (I'd really love my char to take advantage of that gym equipment at muscle beach), scuba diving, and yes FISHING off any boat R*, then this would be greatly appreciated.

the dating system. Dates could be other players you friend, crew members, or randoms you add to your contact list. Also peds you could add to your contact list.

 

also add: fully functioning kitchens your char can cook food in and eat at the dining table/before TV

 

add: fully working toilet. You can shower but not use the toilet???

 

add AN ACTIVE NIGHTLIFE complete with those SA dance mini games FFS R*. You could take your online friends, or dates with peds you meet on your smart phone contact list, or even other online players.

 

And then there is the amusement park. This was the perfect place to take your dates or friends. Or even friendly randoms you meet online. What's the point of having a fully functioning amusement rides when the broadwalk stores are all shuttered up? What happened to the popcorn/hot dog vendors etc. etc.
