Please help!

I am a bad sport all of the sudden! I am pretty sure it was from simply lagging out/game freezing and restarting. I recently got that restart glitch where it says something is wrong with my storage device. Anyways that aside, do I really have to wait 2 bloody days to play with my friends again? When I never even did anything wrong in the first place?!?

 

This is a gamebreaker for me! My GTA is freezes enough, and now with this storage device glitch, even more than ever. Now I am being penalized for this???

 

I haven't played in two days because I bought this game for the sole purpose of playing with my friends. Now I can't do that.

 

Very seriously contemplating returning the game, unless this can be fixed.

Same kind of Pow shtako has been happening to me as well. I'm just having fun with my dad, and suddenly, boom, we're not allowed to play with each other anymore cause his bike blew up inside of my Cargo plane while I was transporting it. Like wtf R*?

Oh, and btw, there's nothing Rockstar support will do for you. I was on the phone ALL morning with them. They just said, "deal with it" effectively. So I had my dad go and get put in to the bad sport lobbies as well, just so we could play together again.

I love how R* thinks that they somehow need to intervene when me and some crew members are blowing up each other's vehicles. Like holy sh*t, step off Big Brother.

Yup, me and my dad f*ck around all the time. Blow up each others vehicles constantly... Drive off a cliff, explode, and take out his car at the same time. Transport some cars in a Cargo plane, shoot a gas tank nearby, etc, etc. It all adds up. Why does bad sport pertain to friends and crew members again?

agree with the OP. ive only worn the dunce cap one but it sucked that i couldn't play with friends. if it happens, which it probably will, ill be done with this game. my friends already gave up on if after they lost their characters. sh*t is too buggy.

This has made the game UNPLAYABLE for me. All because of a few lag outs? Tremendously retarded.

 

Is there anyway to check when it will expire? I know it pops up every now and then but it isn't popping up now and I want to know if I can play this damn game with my friends tonight.

Yea the system is bs but if it wasn't there everyone would be in tanks. How fun does that sound? You know the system that's in place yet you still blow up each other's cars and wonder why your in a bad sport lobby. What don't you guys understand about this? Don't like it? Then don't play. I for one prefer this half added system as opposes to system at all in place. You don't get time added in bs lobbies for blowing up pvs. The people that know this roll around in a tank for the rest of their blowing everything up just as I did. The point is if their was no punishment everyone who had a tank would do this. Either add an option to punish or remove explosives from free roam. Don't give up tanks/rpgs/stickys then punish us for using em. Yeah it sucks but its better than nothing at all keeping people in check.

Guns destroy cars as well. The assault shotty can three shot a Cheetah from the back tire, and the Sandking XL only needs 7 rounds from a pistol into the side mounted gas tank to explode, which is nothing when you have the automatic pistols unlocked.

No Offence Omnifarious but your situation has nothing in common with the OP's situation. You are in Bad sport because you do Bad Sport things. OP is in bad sport because he got glitched out(according to his story) and logged back into it.

Yep glitched out of 2 missions and glitched out another 2 times just in free mode. Apparently this was enough to make me a bad sport.

 

This is inexcusable. My gaming night has now been ruined!
