I did not watch any of the videos so I really don't know what he is complaining about. Yes I have complaints because there was not a lot of weapon mods. Didn't want 203 but i wanted more than the same 4 for every gun.

 

But the police system in my opinion is the best in any game to date. The fact that I can hide under an overpass as they drive over top and don't know I am there is awesome.

 

Anyone who complains about police searching for you have never had to run from the cops. Don't run straight down the street. Hit alleys and backyards. I just wish there where k9 units to track you.

I think in order to stop people 'bitching' about a game, 1st the Devs should stop exaggeration videos which leads people to believe that the game is much better than it really is.

 

Yes, show us the new and cool things but don't make it look or sound like it's the best thing since sliced bread when it's actually about as much fun as watching paint dry.

They may not have 'lied' but they vastly over exaggerated what you can do in the game.

 

It also pisses me off how watered down sp is just so we are all forced to play online if we want more after the main story is up.

They told us it would have a great map, great music, great cops, great characters, great story, great online but in reality it is none of the those, it is a terrible game with many problems and I might consider selling my copy.

Well check, check, check, check, check, and check.

Maps great. Music is great. Cops albeit overpowered, great. The A.I is great. Characters were great. Story was great. Online had a few bumps, but its pretty good. Looks like GOTY.

 

I like GTA IV because it's Liberty City, it gives you the Liberty to do what ever you want.

GTA V however punishes the player for having fun, which is absolute nonsense.

Rockstar are amazing at lying, everything in this game is broken, I could go on and on, but I'm sure most of you have already heard it all. The police system doesn't work one bit, you get in trouble for walking, and police vehicles spawn right in front of you, horrible rubber banding and annoying scripted sequences. Then there's the ridiculous non-existent AI, who hate you for no reason and are overly-sensitive. I was walking through the desert, minding my own business, and some guys 3 - 5 meters away randomly come and attack me, because apparently walking isn't allowed. Other times, pedestrians call the police if you go near them, you can't wait at a crossing signal, they call the police on you for doing that. How can I have fun when anything I attempt automatically gets me in trouble?

 

It's an obvious lack of care, they lied and hyped up so many features, but instead we get a game equal to Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. 5 or so years of development and we get a broken game with nothing that works as it should, and with so many cut features. Look at the train, they made it look like a big deal, yet it's just on a scripted path, randomly spawning, doing nothing but moving. I don't like how they only care about the online mode, they focused too much on it, so the single player mode had most of its features cut, we can do barely anything. Was it that hard to put it in both online and single player? Of course not! They only did it so they could make more money, scamming you with DLC and microtransactions.

 

Then there's the character control, no, please, not the character control, it is so bad, so clunky, so poorly done I can barely move for 10 seconds without the character messing up. Honestly, how does something like character control get overlooked? You can't play a game without character control, they just rushed through it, throwing in some ridiculously cheap movement system, they re-used a lot of GTA IV assets, why not re-use or at least improve on the character control?

 

It's obvious to see there was barely any testing for this game, they obsessed over multiplayer so much they only tested that, there's no way this game would pass beta, in fact, I think we got a beta. This game only got 10/10 because it has 'Grand Theft Auto' in the title, did reviewers even play the game? Didn't they notice how nearly everything is broken? It didn't deserve 'Game of the Year', it got it because it's GTA. Now it's not to say I hate this game, with a playing time of over 10 days, I play it quite a lot, it's just that whenever I want to do something, I get in trouble, it feels more like a linear game, you only have one way to go, you can't try something different, because doing something different gets you a wanted level. It had more potential, they just didn't take it. I expected Grand Theft Auto V, not Grand Theft Auto: Online. I'm a single player only gamer, and I expected a game with 'V' in the title, but instead they whipped up some horrible single player, rushed the story, and went straight to the multiplayer aspect, single player doesn't exist to them anymore. Oh well, the PC version will fix that.

 

Fun game, but the most broken at the same time, you can't take a wrecked car, polish it and say it's new, but that's what they did with GTA V, they rushed the game, said it looked good, and threw it at us. Just remember, I'm entitled to my opinion, and in my opinion, this game is a broken mess that was over-hyped, I knew this game would have flaws, but not on this scale... Agree or disagree with me, I don't mind, but this game is seriously broken, no matter how you look at it.

Ehmm they said they "want to revolutionize online". Doesn't mean they had to, they tried and maybe in their mind they even succeeded and in your mind you think they didn't but they made the statement and if they think they succeeded, then they did.

 

As for the extensive cusomization. You should know that the final product may differ....
