AfterDeath Posted November 8, 2013 Share Posted November 8, 2013 One thing I found weird in this game was how much the Cheetah model changed from previous games. It was always a Ferrari Testerossa But then it became a Ferrari LaFerrari (sort of) which is nowhere near being similar But the Turismo was essentially a Ferrari F40So why didn't the Turismo return as the Laferrari model (F60) and the Cheetah given the Vacca model since it shares many more similarities to the Cheetah's body style in older games? iNeedBoost Posted November 8, 2013 Share Posted November 8, 2013 I rather like the gallardo they added, and the cheetah resembles an enzo/SSC Ultimate Aero Front clip imo. The Cheetah should've been a Testarossa. The Cheetah's current model should've been named somethinh else -- and it ain't no LaFerrari -- and the Carbonizzare should've been prettier. I have to disagree and say there's at least some inspiration. But I do agree the Carbon is pretty boring to me. The front is nice but the rest is just meh. I do like the hard top though, I didn't even know it was a functional convertible until I tried putting the top down. I thought it was a coupe. However, I love the new model. Infernus in GTA3 wasn't so suitable to be one and San Andreas one was even worse. Hopefully, they can give back Cheetah's older model in the next games. Yeah, if anything I would have liked if they kept the old sports cars from old GTAs in the game, like the Infernus as an old Diablo/Countach and the Cheetah as a Testerossa... of course with updated models. They could and should have been the sports classics, just like how they went back to the Stinger's roots and just updated the model. I would have rather seen two models of the good fast cars, both old and new, rather than two ballers, two buffalos, and other cars like that that have older generation versions which have no usefulness. The LaFerrari was unveiled in March 2013, right? The Cheetah was unveiled August 20, 2012. The model was likely made months before. The model has barely changed since it was sown off. There is NO LaFerrari resemblance intended at all. It was just luck I guess.
