Some how the serves are f*cked. I was in a game with 3 players and my friends could not join, it kept saying its full. So something is not right.

 

Also, I can still find packed servers. Its just not easy since it keeps diverting players away as if they are already full.

It´s bad matchmaking since patch. Game won´t take you to a lobby if there isn´t a significant % of friends/crew members.

I rarely end up in a session with more than 8 people and if I do it quickly thins out after about 15 minutes. I play free aim and usually early in the morning since I work graveyard. This probably has a lot to do with it. I really wish they would fix match making to work per mission and not per session. It really needs a bigger pool of players that want to do the same thing. I don't care if I end up in a different session than when I started when I go back to freemode. I just want people to compete against. I have over 32 hours played online and I think I've had one 8 player race in that time (maybe, it might have been 6 or 7). Generally I only have one or two other people with me for ANY mission I do. Basically if your not in a crew and/or don't have any friends the online experience is worthless and terrible

I agree, free aim it's terrible. It's off because free roam lobbies even free aim are typically pretty full.

 

But if I go to play quick match , race or DM , I never find more then 6-8 players , lucky if that.

There is one reason and it ain't CoD or any other game.

 

The one reason this game has failed (IMO obviously), is because Rockstar put out one of the most inept, pathetic, no-show online efforts of all time for a AAA-billed game.

 

GTAO should have been simply amazing, but idiots, fools, charlatans running the show just don't have the ability to do the job.

Awesome game plus I have bf4 and ac and batman AO barely have any time to play any

So disappointed with this POS online experience. I haven't touched the sh*t in over 2 & 1/2 weeks. A part of me just wants to try to get the Platinum trophy, but another part of me says it's not worth devoting time.

I was also experiencing lack of players in every session I joined(1-5 max) but when i got back on later the lobbies were packed. I think it's a new bug since patch 1.05.

yeah , even if alot of players left gta, the servers should still fill up the rooms with other joining players when they join gta or leave a lobby to freemode

Just like everyone else I'm having the same problem. I don't mind so much in freeroam, but when I can only find races with a max or two other people in them it gets annoying. I guess I'll go back to SP for a while.
