Every server low # of people

Every server I've been joining recently only have anywhere between 2-5 players in them. Anyone else have this problem? They used to be between 10-16. Any idea what might be the issue?

It's been like that for me since day 1 for free aim servers, I hate it.. Cause auto aim isn't fun to me yet every time I try it's 12-16 players always

I never play on public servers anymore. Just invite crew, friends and all and have an invite only session.

 

Most people I know do this, due to the annoyance of being put in bad sport for defending yourself. And those that like to camp outside apartments, garages, LSC, etc.

Rockstars game online is going to be a ghost town now that cod ghosts is out.

 

that said they could fix most of this with a simple change. removed bad sport all together and change that lobby to co-op only.

 

let pvpers duke it out in pvp lobbies with no fear of bad sport crap

 

and let co-op players co-op and meet friendlies/new friends without again the fear of getting stuck in a stupid bad sport just for defending yourself.

 

 

rockstar is obviously very retarded that they didnt figure this out and change it in the first 2 weeks of the game.

Even if COD Ghost did come out, it shouldn't affect it to this point since there were over 15 million copies of GTA V sold..Shouldn't be hard to find a nearly full server to play on.

I'm getting this too, every server 2-4 people.

 

Surely it can't be due to CoD Ghosts because the player count was fine yesterday and the day before and CoD released on the 5th. Additionally even with a massive exodus of players wouldn't necessarily mean a drop in players per server.

Blaming CoD is just a kneejerk reaction. The problem is with GTA:O, not some other game.

 

Half the time the sessions I'm in will only show 2 or 3 players, but then after a few minutes they become full. Sometimes all you have to do is wait around for 5 minutes or so.

The game got boring a week or two ago. I agree with people saying the game feels unfinished and a lot of content seems missing (heists, casino, bank robberies, content creator, etc).

Also they have put an embargo on the release of Xbox 1 reviews until the dy after launch, maybe due to the fact it freezes on framerate.

There is one reason and it ain't CoD or any other game.

 

The one reason this game has failed (IMO obviously), is because Rockstar put out one of the most inept, pathetic, no-show online efforts of all time for a AAA-billed game.

 

GTAO should have been simply amazing, but idiots, fools, charlatans running the show just don't have the ability to do the job.
