1v1 is TOTAL BULLSH*T

So I'm going about my business riding my bike on the half in freemode seeing if anybody rides by wanting to bmx. Mr. Physco comes along in his jet which he crashes trying to blow me up.

 

I guess I upset the lil guy or somethin cause he then proceeds to try and light me on fire, shoot me, and even jerk off next to me because I'm in PassiveMode. His homie comes along as well trying to run me over simply because I'm there. So after they proceed to pour gas on my car and blow it up. (which gave them no bad sport, and because of PM I couldn't stop them...)

 

So I ducked behind a corner disabled PM, threw a sticky on the dbags entity and left after blowing the fkin thing to bits. He challenges me to a 1v1. HAHAHA I laughed out loud the guy rolling with buddies actually wants to 1v1. So I accepted and what do yah know. ITS 2V1! His homie was also a part of our so called "1v1"

 

What kind of f*cking stupid ass system is this? Honestly this is a garbage game when it comes to combat

 

1. Auto aim default

2. No such thing as "1v1s"

3. BadSport for blowing up enemy vehicles

4. Throwing everybody into the same game type (PVP AND Co-op Players DO NOT MIX!)

 

Anybody else experience this? (I did win the 2v1 btw but only because I was forced to camp against 2 ppl in a vehicle) Is this whats supposed to happen when a 1v1 starts? Can anyone in the freeroam interfere with 1v1 battles? Why didn't it say 2v1, and why didn't his buddy have an icon? (He didn't even show up on the map!)

even though its 1v1, you are still in a freeroam lobby. Other players can still jump in the 1v1, and completely f*ck it up. It's useless

Yes that's how 1v1s are implemented in this game.

Yes it's stupid.

And even if it wasn't his friend shooting you to influence the fight, a random could just come along and shoot you both with a radar advantage.

 

They also don't force people out of vehicles so you can have a 1v1 against a guy in a tank and die horribly.

 

And the rewards make no sense. $200 for winning (occasionally $1000 if they had money, which nobody ever does)! Which is actually only $100 profit after your entry fee.

 

And if either player abandons the match then both players only get $50 refunded. Regardless of how big a lead the winner had.

I'm speechless. Don't think I'm going to buy another R* game, it seems their entire operation has gone downhill. I don't know whose coming up with these ideas, but they need to be FIRED. ASAP.

 

In fact does anybody know if Gta IV servers are still decently populated? Thinkin of sellin V for IV....

No glitch, that's 'working as intended'.

 

There was a glitch before where kills wouldn't track in 1v1 DMs making some 1v1s inevitable draws. (Gun other guy down, score still says 0-0) Just in case you didn't think the current versions weren't broken enough. Only saw that a couple of times though.

why implement a bad sport lobby that stops people from playing with friends. adds a stupid hat and really is kinda a useless idea. instead they should have just not wasted time with that dumb idea and just kept RDRs servers with seperate co-op and pvp servers. its a pretty simple solution which already proved to work fine instead they change it to something that no one likes.

 

I will never quite understand companies that take something everyone likes. then change it for the next iteration and everyone hates it. its like they really dont read or care about the communities feedback at all.

This is why I've been wanting to go to a nice PC. With the mods from the gta communities it can make the game so much more enjoyable. F*ck a new console and playing by R*'s horrid new design
