...How new are you? They aren't mission givers, and would make no sense, seeing as Micheal was trying to stay out of crime, and Franklin still lived with his Aunt.

Michael would probably have something to do with movies, maybe a stuntman gamemode? As for Franklin... protect the hood? The only problem with the Michael/Franklin missions would be that Online takes place BEFORE GTA V, so they aren't doing a whole hell of a lot at the moment.

Michael would have you pick up his kids maybe, or perhaps tail his wife and kill the hardbody fitness instructors she is f*cking all over town.

Franklin would have you .. rob stuff I guess.

GTA online takes places months before the events of GTA 5. So Michael is still living in retirement. Now if they made a new update where months pass and GTAo/GTA5 time period were close I can see this.

That would also provide an 'in' for players to buy and develop properties without messing with the single player universe! :D

 

Of course, then you have the opposite problem of bringing other mission givers out of retirement...
