Journey_95
We had two different multiple protagonist concepts: In GTA IV we had three different stories for three protags and sometimes they intervened with each other. In GTA V we had one main story which involved around the three protagonists and we had some sideplots (like Franklin dealing with the Ballas or Trevor with the Lost) Which concept did you like more? I like it more if the protags dont really know each other and follow their seperate lifes and sometimes they meet each other as an ally or enemy. In that way every character is more fleshed out. The multiple protagonist stuff is also not forced upon us (like in GTA V).
RandomNoun
Got to agree. In IV it made the universe seem so much bigger. In V, after a certain point, it doesn't really matter that much who you're playing as.

Dope_0110
Of course it was different. In IV you had three different games basically. You got all the characters in separate packs and that allowed them to go deeper with each of the stories while in V it all happens at the same time and over a very small number of main missions compared to other GTAs. That's why IV may seem better explained and deeper in terms of story. They could've fixed that though by having a larger SP campaign in V too, but they obviously decided making online missions was more important. Fuzzknuckles
V, because it didn't take 10 minutes to switch characters. Signatures are dumb anyway.
