Actual fastest sports car?

The elegy handles like crap. I know top speed wise the Sultan is the fastest sedan in the game although it is classified as a Sports car. I've burned plenty of elegy's in my Sultan

I noticed that the Audi (not the Elegy) is the only car that usually will beat me in my Coquette. Rapid GT for The Commute.

You stupid people! The Carbo is THE BEST! You just have to get used to it! I agree that it slips and slides too much and drifts away when it is bumped. Give it a chance! It handles just like the 9F around corners when you know how to drive the freaking thing.

The best racer Sports car is the Feltzer in my opinion.

 

The Carbonizzare might have better accel but it can't keep up with the handling of the Feltzer... also the Feltzer looks like it's straight out of hell.

 

Coquettes - fun for freeroam (I replace with Voltic)

Carbo - same (voltic relaced)

Comet - same again... fun but not my racing pick

Elegy - wtf.. do I look like a poor legit person?

The rapid GT is the fastest accelerating one but handling is a bit... meh. The Feltzer and Jester are worthy of a mention for handling.

Fastest around a track : Elegy (Less forgiving than other sport cars if you mess up)

Also, it depends on what car your used to, I am not saying the elegy is the fastest for everyone, but for me it definitely is.

this is why sports class is the best for racing, so much variety in what cars work best for different drivers, personally i find i get better lap times with jester or elegy, but have won plenty of races with my carbo. Anyone still undecided and looking for someone to tell them which car to get; forget that, jump into SP, test drive them and take the car that suits your driving style.

Speaking as someone who hates the Elegy and doesn't really like its handling... It's still the car I can get my best (sports) lap times with on most circuits. I own it only to race, and it sits in the corner of my garage behind my Sandking so I don't have to see it.

Well, according to Rockstar themselves, unless even their vehicle stats are wrong... the Carbonizzare and Jester have the highest top speed of ALL the sports cars and are actually the second fastest cars in the game (only 1 point slower than the Adder).

Keep in mind fastest could mean one of 4 things.

Highest top speed, in which case you would be right.

Quickest 0-X time

Quickest all around

Quickest in a drag race (which would be a combination of acceleration and speed (traction as well in free roam drags))

I didn't realize that R* changed the stats on the sports cars since 6 months ago....... please use your brain. The age of the thread makes NO DIFFERENCE......smh
