Do races.

Seriously, coming in first place in a 7-man race ear earned me $10,000+

Besides, their more fun that glitching. This is likely to be old news, but still.

It's the 'coming in first place' part I strugle with.

Thanks for this post. I haven't considered trying to obtain money by legitimate means.

I shall try this tonight my fat kitty with a horn and purple hair friend.

I've found that the players I race with often screw themselves over. Even if you don't come in first, there is still a hefty payout. RP are plentiful as well.

True.

Unfortunately the most important thing in races is to learn how to counter pitting, and avoid the mayhem ahead of you.

1. If somebody is trying to pit you, don't fight them for the lead. Slow down or let them pass. Over aggressive players hardly ever brake properly for hard turns so you'll take him at the next bend.

2. If somebody is coming up fast behind you and you know they're an assh*ole, aim for the back of a pedestrian car, and swerve out of the way at the last moment. The guy behind will be so fixated on taking you out that he'll go straight into the back of the NPC car. (Learned this on NFS - Great fun to hear the crash behind you!).

3. Always try to take corners on the inside. If somebody is trying to ram you on the outside just run wide and take them out.

4. If you're being pursued by a group of 12 year old's don't aim for the apex of a corner. The 12 year olds don't know what an apex is and they'll still be going full tilt and take you out. Take a wide line and let the carnage unfold.

5. You don't need to be in first place on the last lap, just keep within slipstream distance and zip past at the end.

6. And possibly the most important thing. Have a well modded car for Super and Sports. It's possible to win without, but it makes things easier.

It is really nice when you have around 8 people in the larger races, you can bank that $13,600 by coming in first. When my crew has been racing for a couple hours a night, it is easy to come away with a couple hundred thousand and have fun doing it.

That is grinding.

Thank you.

It kind of goes both ways.

1. It is grinding because you are just racing over and over.

2. it is not grinding if you are doing different races and keeping things fresh by adding in plane races and parachute jumps.

I don't feel 1. is really grinding "in my opinion" since I always keep 2. as the logic of how I race. Grinding is doing the same thing over and over again to get a result. Since I am always on different tracks and mixing things up, I don't find what I am doing is grinding.

That is grinding.

Thank you.

Not if you do different races with different opponents it's not. It's just simple racing. Grinding implies it's a success every time, but not everyone is going to win again and again.

Incorrect.

The fastest, most legitimate way to earn money without slaving away/exploiting is to buy cash cards with your hard earned shekdollars.
