What's negative about hunting or being hunted? It's fun. Maybe this game just isn't for you?

Aside from LSC, haircuts , clothes, and ammunition there is no point to freeroam except to kill people, that is the issue. If you want to explore or do something with friends unfettered it is best to do it in an invite session. The people in a public freeroam that are not shopping are generally looking for mayhem.

I AM SORRY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE VIDEO, BUT MY WEBCAM IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH.

I was in free roam the other day, killed two people and got a warning that I should "start behaving, or I'll be kicked", I thought the whole idea of GTA was to misbehave?

Yes eyemachunt. Sorry cannot quote from my phone. I only stay in FM to help out against bullies. If I see a player getting abused I help them out whether I know them or not. That is for the bullies that ruin this game...IMO of course.

I heard this one guy screaming in his mic over and over saying 'I had a bad day at work and I'm here to take it out on you' while he ran people over in a mission I was in with.

Rofl. I'd just kill the guy if he acted like that. It'd likely give some fun rage.

This is one of the unfortunate things that has happened to this game compared to IV. In IV, most free roams were about having a lot of different kinds of fun. I hope V will get there soon as IV was. Right now, I only play in invite only or in Crew sessions. Just too much ganking and griefing going on. I don't do DM in FR, that is what the DM missions are for in "my opinion".

i think it comes down to the friends and crew you have for the servers you join. i don't really see many free roam servers where its just all out douchebaggery. maybe 1 in 5 i join are like that. for the most part it's friendly on free roam for me. of course i always watch my back....paranoia is probably my favorite part of the game

I am in a crew that is mostly younger black males.

 

I have to prove myself to them as a white female every time we are in freeroam or they start to hassle me about my vagina being to soft for GTA.

 

I would expect most others players have this same problem.
