Weapon Tint

I can't get weapon tint to unlock, I have 647 kills with the AK47 alone but it still says "get 600 kills with this weapon".

I know it is player kills, I thought the weapons stats would give you player kills but I guess that is combined for player and missions? I have killed a lot of people in free roam it seems with this gun, I wonder where my player kills I have, any way to check?

Thanks, it still makes no sense though, it says I have almost 400 kills with the shotgun, which I assume is just overall kills combined. Then at the bottom it says "kills with this weapon" and only has 6 kills with 10 shots fired. Is that a joke? I have killed 1 single person with the shotgun like 10 times in the same free roam session before. Is this only counting team deathmatch or something?

I -think- it only counts for TDM.
