BEST GTA Game of all time.

So, few of us are still waiting for the legendary release of GTA VI, wich I personally think will be the greatest gta ever. But lets talk about the present instead of the future. I wanna see what you guys think, wich game is the best GTA Game of all time? I will take every single gta game that has been released top to bottom. Lets do this poll motherf*ckers! I hope to god nobody else has done this before me..

SA was better than gta V in every way, except for graphics. Multi-theft auto,for SA, is f*cking awesome. One server is like gta online but MUCH better

Well for me it's Vice City. Just because this is the first GTA I played for countless hours. With GTA III, I was young, I got the game a few months before VC came out because I had to find someone old enough to buy it for me, so didn't really pour hours into it, just completed it. But Vice City, I must of played it every day until SA came out.

 

SA was good, I loved it, revolutionary and probably the best Playstation 2 game techinically ever released, and most successfull, most PS2 copies ever sold, it was huge. But for me the world had no life, it was big and empty. Vice CIty for me was small yet still achieved mass things in the scripting and world vibe and character realisation. Tommy V sh*ts on CJ all day long in my opinion, he's just THE protagonist for me.

 

For the majority fans though, GTA: SA is head over heels the best GTA. I can totally understand why. But I could relate to VC alot more, it was a certain time in my life, that's all. Everyone my age would agree, I'm sure.

 

Storytelling wise. GTA IV, because it was original, the plot wasn't just jacked off some movie like the previous games. GTA V does not out-do GTA IV for storyelling, because of three characters. It's impossible to fully relate to 3 different protags, Niko was solid. And you were with him all the time. I think this is why people feel more immersion towards IV than V too. Gameplay wise V stomps all over IV though.

IV has the best atmosphere, story and protagonist, (and Roman) but V is without a doubt the best.
