Custom Plates do not work.

I am having zero joy with my iFruit custom plates.

 

Got it all sorted on the missus' iPhone, order placed but no in-game plates

 

Should they appear in the garage? At the mod shop? Is it an automatic thing? Do I need to do this whilst playing? Any help appreciated

Yeah I gave up with the ifruit, it's nearly as broken as the game. I had done my custom plate for my RH8, but still hasn't shown up. This was over a week a go or so now.

 

Looked in the garage and it wasn't there. I have filed a support ticket but still waiting for a reply.

Did you set up the plate while signed in on xbox / ps?

 

Didn't work for me either but when I went on the app whilst on the game and ordered one it was instant. A message popped on my screen that the order had been placed.

Mine didn't show up either when I first did it, I had to end up driving to an LSC and placing it on the primary vehicle at that time.

 

So go to an LSC and see if it's available. You'll see it listed 'Private Plate' under the Plate category.

It took me several tries placing the order to get it to go through, but when it finally did, it was pretty much instantaneous. I was in-game and it sent me a text to let me know that I can go to LSC to get me order filled.

Guys when you order your plates, make sure you change something else (I.e paint/wheels). I have done this for a few people

Firstly, it's not for your R8, it's your only private plate overall, just one.

 

@OP, I had it in SP but not in online, one day I my game froze, I turned it back on to an update, then my plate appeared in online. It makes no sense unless the action actually causes an update but I've not heard this from anyone.

It took weeks for me, I believe you have to purchase the only plate you can have separately for online and offline

Good information. I've yet to have luck with this or any mod I sent through iFruit. I never get a text saying it's ready or anything.

I'll look for the Private Plate option, as previously, I haven't had a clue what to be looking for.

You must have set with your slot 1 character and choose the car if its no working change the color plate and make sure you order it!

Shiiiiiiit. I've been using slot 2 character since Oct. 2nd........but, the iFruit shows my slot 2 characters car when customizing???

Try doing slot 1 .. And once you get this solt 1 you can put on slot 2
