Not true. Super cars are faster.

On a straight track maybe, but the moment you throw in a tight corner or two the supercars will lose so much speed in the turns that the Akuma will usually come out on top.

It's also a LOT easier to take corners at high speed on an Akuma than in an Entity because you don't need to time your breaking or decide how much to break, which makes it easier to average fast times on the bike because you aren't under the same pressure to nail every corner.

No sh*t sherlock, handling on bikes is easier because bikes are smaller, but it is also easier for you to get wiped out. All I need to do in a chase is either shoot at you or run you over. The risk of falling off the bike is immense, with all the traffic and obstacles.

But that doesn't mean that super cars can't get to top speed very fast after a turn, that's why they are called super cars. 0-60 in a matter of seconds. You are acting as if a super car won't be able to catch up to a bike after a turn.

After a turn, the super car may lose speed, but it can quickly gain it back again due to its acceleration. Handling on super cars are also very very good, as with the breaks.

I have a fully modded Bati but I only use it when I have a bounty (great to quickly drive to a good stand off point).

Seems reading this thread the Akuma would have been the better choice. Doesn't the accelaration between the two become similar when the Bati is modded?

Dinka Double T for life :p

Call me a hipster, but there is no better feeling that beating a load of people riding Akumas on my Double T :D

I'm fully aware that the Akuma has unmatched acceleration but most players online couldn't win bike races unless everyone else was on a faggio :p

Didn't vote because the options you give suck, but the Akuma is a fantastic bit of kit.

I choose to have a fully modded RR instead because of the looks (with "Lucky Strike" paint) and I love wheelies, which is the one area the Akuma isn't good in, but I can't keep up with my homie's fully modded Akuma unless we're on a freeway. The way that thing takes off is just bonkers.

TBH it's so fast it's a bit of a liability as it's so hard not to just pin the throttle everywhere...

Edit: Oh and my other bike is a fully modded naked Bagger. A little slower, but feeels much less frenetic so nice for cruising.

The Akuma is the only motorcycle I own at the minute. Swapped it for my Double-T which I used to/still love.

I actually hate my Akuma, if it weren't for the sheer speed of it you can bet your last dollar I'd get rid of the darn thing.

It has won me a stupendous amount of races so I guess I shouldn't be so harsh on it.

Strange poll options so not voting. But yeah got a fully modded baby pink Akuma, which seems to arguably be the best race bike (though I reckon the BatiRR is stronger in tracks with long straights + catchup turned off). Also surprisingly nimble in off-road spots, mountain explorations during longer mission drives are an absolute treat with it. I do miss my modded BatiRR though, it just looks and sounds so damn goooood. Might pick it up again if there are extra garage slots in future :)

fully modded akuma is very nice.. its accelerates a bit faster then my batti rr wich is also fully modded

but in the end the batti wins it on speed, grip, brakes

so akuma is only beter on tracks with alot of break corners

If it wasn't for racing I wouldn't have an Akuma, I would rather have a Ruffian (most mods and fun driving) or the Bati (best feeling and best looks). Only have space for one bike though.

I love mine and it's won me so much money that it's become a keeper. I originally had the Ruffian and ummed and arred about changing to the Akuma for ages but I'm so glad I did!

The amount of bike races I enter, and go from last to first in a matter of seconds !!!!!

Absolutely Rapid !!

Love it.

The absolute top speed of a Bati is slightly better, but it takes so long to get to that speed it becomes pretty much meaningless.

Yeah. Bati usually gets destroyed by the Akuma in real races, the more corners there are the more the Akuma will pull ahead.

I rarely get beaten in my Bati and when I do it's usually by another Bati. Akuma's do accellerate faster but with the boost start that's negligible. They do get slight push ahead though but by the time I'm 10% through the race I start catching up and power past them almost every race. I like the Akuma's accelleration don't get me wrong but in races it's simply not fast enough unless a dirt road is involved.

sh*tty pole options so i didnt vote.

I loved the Sprunk 801 RR in SP so i had to grab one for online. Wheelies are so much fun.

The motorcycle physics in this game are incredibly fake and un- enjoyable compared to gta4

Go play GTAIV then if its so much better.
