Approved Racers Thread

Im not sure it does anything beyond ranking you in the crew...and the overall total ranking your crew among the other crews.

 

My main concern is having crew members to play with and not having to switch crew tags constantly.

Past level 44, not much. There are things you can unlock in a Crew by gaining levels. Car colors, t-shirt emblems, masks, parachute colors and such. Other than that, mostly just ranking brag rights.

Some one else also has mentioned that if we are all on the same active team, you get an XP boost.

 

Edit- click Crews tab, choose your crew you want look at and then chose GTAOnline tab, once there you can see all your Global RP, Race RP etc and right above that you will see what things unlock per Crew level.

Well i think I have decided. I am going to inform my members (most of you are already in here anyway) that i am going to start wearing RRR1tag from now on. We will see if we cant bring the xbox side of rum up to speed. I will be contacting each member and once they confirm through the social page i will bump them out to free up the slot for them.

I have raced with GrndZero since nearly day one. He's always clean. I raced with him and Luap both yesterday for a little bit. I don't play a lot due to my job and having three little girls at home (a 4 year old and twin 9 month old girls) that keep me on my toes. I try to be clean and mostly play GTA Online just for racing. I'm in the GUNS crew and all of those guys are very solid that I've met but most of them are not "racers" per say. I've been thinking of switching to another group where I can find more racers on Xbox 360. I'm not the best racer out there but I tend to hold my own most of the time.

Okay guys. Made some changes to the event thread. Since we now have a crew on the PS3 and Xbox, a new thread has been created to a few reasons.

 

1. To cut down confusion.
2. To appeal to more people that are looking for clean racing. Which in turn, will hopefully get more people in the approved list.

loving the new progress with the crew events, xbox/ps3 consolidation and general rum'ery of things

 

I also want to drop in a vote for Refuso, hes been in many a race with myself and other RRR1 crew members but for some reason I haven't yet voted for him,,, hes a good racer that always tries to keep it clean and im sure it wont take long for him to get a second vote...

 

Ill be adding Luap, Cloudfuel and GrnZero to the approved list this afternoon,... might have to double up the columns in the OP to make sure we've got enough room for everyone.. be good to see some more Xbox based racers on the list, particularly now RRR1 has an xbox division...

next stop needs to be a crew vs crew battle night... to get some more crews represented on here, i know some of us have multiple crews so this could be sorted out, but id really like to see us go head to head with Apex Stalkers...

I too can throw in for Refuso. Good, clean racer.

 

I was thinking about the Crew vs. Crew ordeal and this is what I have in mind.

 

A playlist consisting of 4 Tracks, 2 point to point and 2 lap races. 3 vs 3. The first crew to have ALL 3 members cross the line, wins that round. Playlist points will be combined as a crew overall to also help determine the winners. My only concern is the last playlist I did, we got broken up on the last damn race.

hey TBC,

 

that seems like a pretty good idea, we could do an RRR1 event before hand to determine our three racers... given that we can fit 16 in a lobby we could do a tier 1 and tier 2 set of races both would be 3 x 3 (giving 12 total in the lobby, 6 from each crew) running the same playlist at the same time, we jsut need to find another crew to challenge...

 

 

i was somewhat confused by you getting kicked out on the last race, i tried to invite you back but it told me you were busy (presumably a stuck loading screen) and before i could get you back in the lobby it launched the last race..

Put a vote in for peanut666999 and Seakaiser2 please. I raced a whole playlist with them and did several missions last night. Good stuff. Both xbox and added to crew last night.

I also wanna add a vote for Refuso. We did races with calebxx12, tolly and others, but it completely slipped my mind to throw in a vote for him. I also wanna vote for asesino (also in Red Rum Racing), pretty good and clean racer, from my experience. I remember I accidentally hit the rear end of his car (because of slipstream and some lag cause my bro was streaming a show), which caused him to spin out. I didn't really spin out, but I felt really guilty, so I stopped and let him pass me.

I had no idea you were a forum user or I would have added you awhile ago. We have been racing like he said, since the beginning damn near. Clean racer and approved. He is also in my Crew.

 

Edit- well, he was in my Crew, I guess he left and went to RRR, lol.

I am keeping my Crew going so if they can get the whole SocialClub VS thing going like they did for MaxPayne 3, maybe we can do competitions later.

Easiest way to tell which ones are xbox, just do a compare stats and choose the button for the RRR1 crew, the only people that show are going to be xbox people.

 

Edit - I guess I should point out that this was directed towards Luap since he is xbox, it would work the reverse way if you are PS3.

I took the liberty of setting up a "GTAF Approved Racers Chat" on the PS3 side, I have invited TBC, Mo & Tolly but don't feel it is my place to invite any others (i'll leave that to Mo and TBC) but my thoughts were only to invite players approved on this thread, the chat room not only helps for the micless, like me it also helps set up games between players possibly not in the same lobby or free mode

 

Also if you want crew challenges look no further than DDZN sure I could get at least 8 members to join up and play by gentleman's rules

does this stay permanently open? I presume its via the PSN chat room facility... ive never really used it as i got a mic shortly after starting my foray into online gaming but i have been in one or two chat sessions, just dont know specifically how they work (other than the obvious lol)

There are several Xbox approved racers on the OP. Just send them a message and they'd most likely race with you.
