if all your other means (and glitching) to make money were cut off...do you think you'd be able to make a proper GTA living just collecting bounties?

depends, the ammo you use will need to be refilled someday

I always hunt for bounties when they are 3k and over. And for me it's a Great and fast way to make money!

It's fun, but no. Cap of 9k is to small. It's good to make a little money on the side, but if it's your sole source of income, you'll be waiting years before you can get your much desired chrome adder. (i kid)

If you're fast enough, hell yeah. I've made upwards of 100k in like 10-15 minutes. It's actually really annoying when there are no bounties being placed.

You have to invest in a fast vehicle and good weapons.

If I see someone with a 5K - 9K bounty I usually go after them and having a fully modded Entity makes the job not easier, but a lot faster.

I usually get them to pull over by shooting their tires / pitting / ramming then face the rear end of my vehicle towards them as the Entity is nearly bulletproof because of the window, in my experience.

Other than that, no I'd rather do races which I find more enjoyable.

how the hell did you make 100k in less then 15 mins? I'm sure no one puts bounties every second.

Hard to say. I have gotten a large amount off bounty hunting, but also lost alot from being killed by the one with a bounty, also by other players trying to get it. I know if someone gets it before me i will kill them 2-8 times just because they got it

You are the dawg, the big bad daawugh.

Yeah, it's pretty great. Especially with people who use LSC glitch are made up mostly of asshats, bounties placed all round

Not as good as selling cars.

Doing that as well as bounty hunting can make a sustainable living I'd say!

To say it's not fun to run from people while you have a 9k bounty on is a lie. I usually won't kill other players, so taking bounties kind of gets me my fix of murdering.

Yes as long as you are a good bounty hunter. What I mean by that, you don't blow up personal vehicles making you lose money and you don't use explosives which cost more money.

The ideal bounty hunter (me) uses only one or two sniper bullets or some AP pistol rounds. No RPGs, no nades, no stickys. JUST bullets. I can make 50-60 grand in 3-4 hours.

Not really. Your depending too much on the other players. Remember. There are always those who camp in their house or leave when u come close to them. It is fun and good money but staying in free roam only just waiting for bounties. Good luck. Everyone will be in ther lsc glitched adder while u are driving your car that you stole off the street trying to catch up to them. Sad but true. I should know, I tried that career. :D

People bounty hunting me usually spend a lot of time chasing me down. And then there's the hospital bills I give them. So no it's not a money maker.

Edit: It is a lot of fun though. Gotta change my vote

Eh, most bounties I've came across they normally run to their Apartment or Garage.. so it's pretty f*cking useless.. or you drive across the entire map for $1000 bounty half the time. Because I never see the amount placed.

Once I got platinum Bounty Hunter, I gave up on them. I make more money doing other activities.

I don't think so because bounty hunts usually escalate quickly into deathmatches.. so you end up spending a good chunk of the money. Being a good racer (which I am not) is still the best way imo.

Confusing voting options. I reckon that bounty hunting is best experienced as a breather/change of pace between other jobs and activities, approach a red dot or two and once you've bagged them (or someone else has), just move on to something else before the whole Manhunter thing gets too stale :)

I doubt it would make you rich, but you could deffo "survive" on bounties.

I raced a lot when i first played, and have preeeeetty much all the vehicles i want. Now all i really do is server hop and bounty hunt when my friends arent online. Im not exactly making a fortune, but im more than covering my costs and im having a lot of fun doing it.

Bounty hunting is great as a pastime, nothing more imo. Love doing it but only for fun, i don't depend my income on bounty hunting.

not really

made about 20 K yesterday doing 4 bounties in like 5 minutes but after that it died out quickly, only the occassional bounty popped up and most of them were out of range or hiding in their safehouse

Is it fun? Yes.

Can you make money doing it? Yes.

Is it a good source of income? Absolutely not.

Hunting bounties doesn't rake in much cash for the amount of time it takes to do it. If you're in the neighborhood and someone has a bounty, yeah it's worth swinging by and capping them. But making it your focus isn't time well spent if you're looking to make money. If you're looking for entertainment, then that's a different story.
