UnforgivenHorse
This is just a 'small' list of issues that I came up with that are making me want to get a refund while I still can. GTA Online Psychic cops 1) Cops' vision wedge is innacurate. If you fall within their wedge size and are directly behind them, they can see you. This has happened to me multiple times on the highway. 2) My most recent instance of psychic cops was at the dam just north of LS, at the end of the LS river. My car got stuck, and with nobody around, I blew it up and got a star. It exploded, so whatever. Then, I run up to the top of the pumping station and hide behind the building. When the cops arrive, they see me through the three trees, set of stairs, and the huge cement building, as if like magic. what? Modding Modding has become a real issue as of late, as with gta iv. I recently got an invite to somebody's garage, and they had a buzzard with blue guns in it(what?). On top of that, there's cop cars, industrial cars, and all sorts of others that people now have as their ill begotten 'personal vehicle' and drive around in them, which brings me to my next point: Bad sport for blowing up personal vehicles I don't know if this is some kind of sick way to prevent people from using explosives or what, but it doesn't work. Most of the time, it's a swing or miss if somebody's even driving their personal vehicle. I've gotten bad sport warnings for blowing up a somebody in a cop car, the space docker, and numerous other cars that SHOULD NOT be personal vehicles. Shooting while in vehicles I had somebody chasing me(duh, it's gta), and so I look behind me to shoot, but my character can't decide which window he wants to shoot out of, even when I didn't move my crosshair. So I'm taking fire constantly and my character won't fire his gun, and eventually I resorted to a sticky bomb. Wanted levels are inconsistant(or too consistant?) It seems to me, that aside from the helicopters, there's no difference between one and three stars. Definitely none between one and two. With that on top of the psychic cop problem, you can lose them, but they will still spawn right next to you and home in on you until you lose your star(s). This is worse with 4+ stars and you are in the air, as helicopters spawn literally right on top of you, preventing you from losing your stars unless you go out into the ocean. The dreaded mechanic 1) Now I don't know about anybody else, but I have every reason in the world to blast my mechanic in the back of his face with my shotgun every time I see him. He refuses to deliver cars onto the major highway bridge leading to Zancudo. 2) The mechanic really hates the Zancudo area. I called my car on the little dirt road just south of the base. NORMALLY, this is not an issue. But this time, he spawned on the Zancudo bridge(what?), and then proceeded to just drive down to Los Santos and drive around looking for me... in Los Santos, while I was in Zancudo. GTA V Ejection inconsistant I left Michael's house, took the immediate left in his tuned up tailgater, and hit a car immediately after taking the turn, as I was blind to it and turning into oncoming traffic(durp). Michael was ejected from the vehicle and flew down and across the street until he hit a light pole and died. In the same gameplay session, I ramped a Feltzer off of a break in the highway wall and hit the side of another highway at full speed, which should have ejected me. Instead, I just bounced off, fell down, landed on my roof and exploded. Singleplayer Updates? I don't know about anybody else, but I like to mod a car in singleplayer with my multimillion dollar bank accounts to see if I like them before putting money into them in online. I was quite excited to see an update to the online car ordering sites, even though they didn't have pictures for the newly added cars to the sites. I switch to singleplayer to buy some of the new cars to see how they handle and what do I find? Zero updates to the ordering system. Firebirdlmm79
Dude if I could permanently kill my mechanic I would, f*cking guy is an absolute asshole man I hate seeing the thing pop up that says I paid him argh!!!! I have experienced this shooting difficulty you speak of and it is something that has gotten me killed multiple times.... The bad sport thing as of now is unavoidable I would just stay away from any explosives and in fact just stay away from any douchbag trying to kill you and is driving a personal vehicle I have been labeled a bad sport before because my friend blew up a car while in my car. Fortunately I have not experienced any psychic cops PRAISE DA LAWD As for the modding, Rockstar has recently released a statement saying that they will begin BANNING any one who has partook in any kind of cheating which would include modding, exploiting glitches, farming money etc. so they will get there's... PineboxFiller
Yeah it would be nice if they would put some resources into single player. Especially since the patches they released for online have caused a ton of problems in single player.
iNeedBoost
My issue with the cops is they kamikaze their cruisers into you at full speed in the opposite direction! On freeways this will completely take out your steering... Right like the cop in the car is like "Oh i know how i'll stop this guy! i'll take my 5lbs car at 80mph and run straight into the front of his car which is doing 110mph in the opposite direction!" First off that impact would eject both drivers, second wtf? when does this ever happen in reality? i Robbed a mini mart and your going to kamikaze your car into mine? smh! Spookygal
Single player is really kind of dumb how you can't buy more houses or store more cars. What else is there to really do once you complete the game? Lack of clothing also is a big negative. The only part of online I enjoy is survival but it gets repetitive fairly quickly. Races are stupid because its damn near impossible to join a race and win to get the engine unlocks when there is always that one guy with a fully modded car who is going to smoke you no matter what. I gave up trying to get engine unlocks. Missions are stupid because you usually start at the opposite end of the map and half the people die before you get to where you are supposed to go. Free-roam is a kiddy park gank fest so that's no fun. I leveled up online to 120 for the chaingun and finished the main story in single player but I'm done now. This game doesn't really have anything to offer for me anymore.
iNeedBoost
I get that but at some point it's like really? the cops are annoying enough without them barreling at you at full speed! I get that realism isn't gta, but if there are things that should and shouldn't be realistic... why don't they just have a cop standing on the freeway waiting with a rocket launcher? it's just as unrealistic as them sacrificing themselves to bring a purse napper to justice! Or how when trying to avoid suicidal cop cars, they are magically controlled by your steering wheel. You shuffle the steering wheel and you watch their car shuffling like an idiot as if they are psychic! Hell! A psychic wouldn't have a fifth of that reaction time lmfao! The only way to avoid the collision is to be up against the guardrail on one side and race to the other side at the last second! You barely escape the impact by merely having a faster car not that skill is involved... I love the game don't get me wrong but i find my self cursing at the tv in at least 80% of the cop chases i get into hahaha!
