Having only apartments in the exact same square mile of the game, in an Online mode focused on making money and buying some nice shinny sh*t, you'd think they'd have put more effort into it. Because right now, some people are paying 400k to have the same penthouse I have ( that cost me 223k ). The difference ? Well they have a view of Downtown LS and the beach while I don't. If you do the quick math, that's 177 000$ for a view. A view from your apartment, where people will say '' Oh sh*t, nice view you got there, pal. '' and never speak of again. Great investment. May I ask which apt was that...I've googled but don't get pics for all the apts. There was a very helpful thread here on the forums but I can't find it. If I'd known that I would have gotten the $200,000 instead of the $391,000 one. ..Oh well. Yep, the only thing different is the view. IMO the Richards Majestic Apartment 51 apartment view is the best. At night you can see the pier with the Ferris wheel. So much hillside out of the other window overlooking the golf course. BurnCK Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 the 200k apt view blows. Upgraded to weazel plaza 101 where you can see the Vinewood sign and the downtown buildings. It's all about location for me. Couldn't care less about views as I don't stand in my apartment all day staring out the window. For me the apartment is just a place to spawn when I boot the game up and somewhere to store my cars. Until R* differentiates the apartments and gives us stuff to put in the apartments it matters little. If the layouts, furniture, etc were different I might have made more of an effort choosing which one I wanted. Bring back Pool tables, Arcade machines, etc, that were in other GTA's and let us buy them for our apartments. We might get more use out of them then.
