144 million dollars

hey, me and my mate was playing online session and a message came up on his screen, that, so and so player has given you 144 million then the player went of line never seen again weird right. started spending money obviously and now he cant play online. 100% signal strength, just keeps freezing and gets kicked out of every session and takes like 45 mins to load into a session. he started a new character with new name and still the same thing can not play gta on line what happened was it some sought of bug just too strange and random does any one know what to do or has it happened to them!!!?????

I was given around 29 million today too. After reading your problems i am not sure if I can report it somehow now. I have had no problems logging in and playing online though since it happended

yeah it took a few days to start we spent heaps of money then after like 3 or 4 days no more gta online

What do you mean 100% signal strength? As in wireless signal? if thats the case, it doesn't mean the server connection is good, just the connection to the AP and LAN.

Only negative I see about being given money like that, is doing missions and stuff afterward. I was blessed with quite a bit of money awhile back and it was real nice, until my crew started doing missions a lot. You pretty much then have to pick the funnest missions to do since you're obviously not solely grinding for money. I guess it helps to get your RP up though, but id rather play criminal records for that. I grinded everything, including RP for a long time and since I work a lot and don't get much time online except nights, I wanted to level up fast without grinding for days. Honestly id rather have plenty of money so I never had to worry about it again, and just deal with doing the missions with friends when I have to. Some people just don't have time to grind for a year to get what they want. Now if I worked part time or had no job it may be different but its not and I don't want to grind for 2 weeks just to get a car I've been wanting and then lose interest. I guess when you play with crews and have tons of fun without relying on making money it helps out too.
