It's because they wanted us to be the character, or feel like it. They could've sent that message across more clearly by allowing customisation, but Claude looks cool anyway. Although I haven't played the game, from what I know, she is absent in V . Don't believe them in terms of gaming. I think Rockstar have simply chosen one of their voice actors to make some "oughs" and "ouchs". Everyone can do it .
