Best Compact for racing?

I know it's not a very common class, but I'm going to fill a precious spot in my garage with a compact car for those rare times when you get a compacts/motorcycles only track, or GTA with compacts etc.

Stats-wise, it looks like it'd be between the Weeny Issi and Dinka Blista. The Issi handles very sharply, which is great, but the Blista offers much more protection from bullets for GTA races. If the Issi starts with the top down you're kinda in trouble!

Anyone have any opinions?

Blista from my experience. It kinda looks like a Sporty-compact. It's the best, and handles just as sharply as the Mini-co I mean Issi though the Issi is lighter.

Kinda suprises people when in a Compact Race they see I actually have a modded compact and my garage isn't just 10 Super cars.

Cool, thank you. Yeah that's partly my thinking as well. I've won a lot of off-road races just because I have a modded BF Injection. That would apply even more so for compacts.

I think the Blista is the best racing compact, and looks pretty cool fully modded. I was considering modding one up to make the full race ready garage, but have yet to encounter a compacts race (and frankly I'm not that into them and never set it to compacts myself when host).

Compacts racing is great fun. More like proper racing as the speeds aren't so high, so the shunting, bumping, pit'ing isn't as detrimental. Races are generally very close. One wide turn etc can be the winning/losing factor.

If I'm thinking of the right class, the MINI is fun. That was actually my first car in the game.

Great. Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll definitely try the Blista - I haven't even tried what it looks like with all the mods, so that's another plus.

I have to say, racing the weird vehicles (e.g. compacts, SUVs) is actually pretty fun. It makes a change from the more regular classes.

Ever since I supped up my Issi I have trouble not losing control on high speed turns

That's why I went with the Blista. It seems to have better handling that the Issi when they are both fully upgraded.

In a race without custom I'll choose the Blista over the Issi as I can handle it better.

If custom is on I'll use my Futo.

Futo is a sports car, not a compact.

anyway, i hated the issi. one wrong bump in the road and you are spinning. I prefer the blista, but if i couldnt find one of those id go for a prarie. it isnt the fastest but it handles pretty well.

Just souped up my Blista today and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. Handles nicely and is fast enough, for the class.
