Will not answer phone while taking cover

Probably been covered before but whenever i am in cover and try to phone lester to remove wanted stars he will not pick up the phone, anyone else experienced this?

Yeah I've experienced it with Merryweather, so I'm guessing it happens with everyone. The phone just rings out and doesn't answer. Also, after removing wanted level stars from Lester in the past (or speaking to Lester in general) the phone will get stuck and won't close.

What you want to do is go into single player and go back in GTA online again, or the other method is press start and wait awhile and then go back to online and see if it works.

No, I don't want to do that at all! I want lester the fat bastard to get his nose out of the fridge and answer the phone when I need him! (but seriously, thanks for the suggestions, I just dont like having to leave and rejoin and also when i have the cops breathing down my neck pressing start and waiting is not an option)
