does car weight (armor) affect speed/aceleration?

As title says..today when got the ifruit app then go customize all my cars by the app, when i put car armor the weight bar goes up, and now i need to know if this affects speed or aceleration, thx

I don't use the app, however, whenever you add/remove an Upgrade, you can see on the left of the screen at the Specs of the car's Performance, whatever changes as you add or remove. If the Weight bar goes up, see if the Speed/Acceleration bar goes down.

Oh thx, when i remove armor, car weight goes down but speed still the same..i think weight affects stability, i took off 100% armor on my adder and put 20% (20% still same weight as no armor) then go for a test drive, i dont know of it was mine impression or not but you can feel that your car now have less weight, especially when turning around

Aaaah, never thought of! Maybe I'll remove the armor on my race cars now. I think there are a lot of hidden stats so I guess you are right

I never armour my cars unless they're saloons or SUVs which could feasibly be armoured in the real world.

 

Bullet-proof tyres are a must though. You can still quite easily be one-shot KO'd by a goon with a shotgun through the windows, even with full armour on the vehicle and full armour and health on your character.
