Franklin's Buffalo is a lot more robust and has fantastic braking. The Sultan on the other hand has awful braking but still handles like a beauty. I'm not sure which has better top speed but I assume it's the buffalo. As for acceleration, the Sultan wins.

 

I chose to keep my Sultan over the Buffalo mainly because of it's looks and the compact size of it (for a 4 door it's pretty damn small)

Tailgater is a sedan, not a sports...and I'm not sure about the schafter..

 

Off the top of my head the sultan is a 4 door sport...I can't think of any others.

In free roam my friends stock Entity couldn't beat my Sultan (long straight road). In a race I was facing a fully modded Coquette and my Sultan wasn't far behind, on the straights it gained on the Coquette but unfortunatly for Sultan owners, at some point in a race you must use the brakes. :)

Fully modded Sultan is the fastest 4 door in the game.

It's almost as fast as maxed out Elegy. We did a lot of races at car meets. Examplar couldn't keep up, neither did Franklin's Buffalo. It's a shame, because I love how that car looks.

Funny how not only are these not sports, but any 4-door Coupe or 4-door Sports car would absolutely destroy these.

 

Sorry, these are good Sedans, but they do not even come close to the best 4-doors.

Sadly, the sultan is no longer based on the impreza/wrx crossed with the evo. If you look closer, the front end is more like that of an altezza (is300) w/the rear of an evo.

 

I have 2 sultans, one with sport rims for city driving & one with off road rims for driving north of the city. Love the sultan.

I would say the Sultan. I have two, one fully modded. The other looks stock (non rs) but has turbo, bp tires, engine and transmission upgrades. No exterior body mods except limo tint. I drive my Sultan all the time and choose it over my super cars.

The Sultan has to be one of the most overrated cars in the game imo. It's not as fast as other sports cars and sure as hell not as fast as an Entity. As near as I can tell everyone is love with it from GTA IV and the fact it's AWD which doesn't really mean squat since most cars can go offroad fairly well in this game.

 

That being said the Sultan is a good 4 door crew car. It's more compact which I actually like in an escape/pursuit vehicle. It also has a ton of customization if that's your thing.

 

I also think having the fastest car is overrated too. There is a lot of 4 door cars/trucks that will get the job done. Pick one you like the looks, handling, mods, etc and run with it.

Sure, there's Franklin's car but as far as I know, that's not intended to be online. All existing copies of it are duped from hacked vehicles, and I wouldn't bother messing around with a car that Rockstar may one day decide to remove.

Exemplar- Best overall 4 door, atleast when it comes to just driving. A little exposed but overall windows aren't too bad. Lowish armor though. A little light weight too. This is however the fastest and most maneuverable 4 door so it would be the best at getting away.

 

Sultan- Good but lacks top speed and brakes. Acceleration is nice and is the best off-road. Medium weight. Armor is good on it, but a largish windows may make you get shot. Would be your best choice if you plan to go off-road during a heist.

 

Franklins Buffalo- Good overall car. Acceleration isan't as fast as competitors though so that could cause problems. Large weight, making it one of the best for ramming other vehicles when trying to kill the people inside them. With certain upgrades on the hood and roof, you can get alot of armor covering the front window. Back and side windows are pretty small too. The thing is a tank too, it can get riddled with bullets and be fine. This would easily be the best 4 door if you plan to get shot up alot.
