RockstarFanboy Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 (edited) AC3 recieved a lot of hate due to the fact that Ubi launches a game every year but AC4 from what I've seen is recieving a lot of praise... people are saying Assasins Creed is back and that AC4's the best out of all the games and more Even the user ratings from AC4 are much better than AC3 and almost as good as AC2 which is pretty impressive (although I don't look much at that kinda stuff...) So for those who played, is it worth it? Brotherhood is still my favourite AC game though, but AC4 is a very good game, better than those generic 'merica f**k yeah shooters (BF4 and CoD ghosts) that have been released recently. I find Revelations to be the weakest of them all but what allures me the most to Black Flag, is that I've been waiting for a really great open-world pirate game. But really, have they been done to death like zombies being added into games? I don't think so. The reasons the zombie games/add-ons have become as bad as they are, is because the ideas are recycled so frequently. A game , ages ago, called Possession was a fresh take on the zombie genre. Dr. John Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 AC 3 wasn't so bad, Ubisoft was just 'trying to make money with DLCs' (twin brother of EA perharps). Most of the haters were from PC community as it was a terrible PC port. AC 2 would be the best series out on PC as it was beutiful and was runnig perfect on low-end PCs well. As for AC 4, I heard its well developed game. But I doubt I will like it as much I did AC 1 and AC 2. Heck, I doubt any PC gamer will like it. Ubisoft is just delaying the PC version. Damn it, why don't these game companies understand our pain. Even GTA V would have hit $1.3 billion if were released on PC on the first day itself. The story is garbage as usual but the game looks great and is just fresh enough. Surprisingly fun, the open sea looks great. To be fair to him the characters in this game weren't interesting in the least (aside from The Sage and Edward) and most of them happened to be pirates, so y'know.
