What one thing do you hate most about vice?

Recommended Posts

this goes back to gta3 and is really my only big problem with the game. when someone jacks you or a cop busts you, your vehicle comes to a complete stop. i hate that! do you realy think that since some dude happened to open my door, i wouldn't be flooring it?!?! seriously, it pisses me off to no end. and yes, i realize that if you could just floor it, you would never get caught but i don't care. it still pisses me off.

how about you guys. what's the ONE thing you hate most?

I say Camera, not so much "improved" as is "sh*tty".

I honestly liked GTA3's better, atleast then I could control the camera, the moment I jack a car, whereas in Vice you have to wait until your moving in order for it to kick in.  Also, while switching views, why does it go from first person(fine), to cinematic(cool), to 30 feet away(lil far), THEN it zooms in so you can't see past 5 feet in either direction?

Also the music, I was never a big fan of those songs, although classics & deserve respect, they never appealed to me as something I want to thump riddin down the road....

That & the fact they could've used the money for those soundtracks & made more improvements to the game. :dontgetit:

:r*: Biggest F*ck Up: re-releasing songs from 2 decades ago, like no one already has them collecting dust somewhere in thier house. 7 of them,  :sneaky:  Really.....why?

:rah: Don't get me wrong this is the best game for PS2 I've played yet, I'm actually quite glad that my two pet peeves are insignifigant to gameplay.

Every thing rocks, but there are three things I hate equally.

1. No top down veiw, I somtimes like to go old school.

2. Lack of a place to store weapons.

3. The army shoots at you even when you are outside their base. (the cop suit fixed that)

I would also like to say that VROCK kicks more ass then expected.

How old you are might have something to do w/your dislike of the music..

I believe the vast majority of people playing the game are over 25, so to most its a huge +

I like those songs, just not enough to buy them again because they're now associated with a new game...

I was never big on the radio stations, granted it does separate GTA from the rest, but honestly it the most expendable feature....

I'd much rather pop in one of my own CDs.  Hybrid sets a nice tone while playing the game.  But I bet only a handful of people (on these boards) have ever heard of them...

I'm not 25 but I know good music :pp , most people I know over 25 claim they don't play video games anymore.  But that's only the ones I've talked to :rol:

The biggest disappointment is still the fact that cars disappear and appear out of nowhere and there are times where you have to go a ways to even see a car on the street.  Like when your driving around looking for a certain vehicle and you see one pass you , so you swerve around to go after it and it magically disappears. Or when you leave your car outside and jump into the pink marker to access a mission and when the cutscene is done and you go back outside to start the mission your ride is gone.. also some of the missions are pretty lame and others could use a mid mission save since they get harder at the end and you just dont feel like driving a long ways all over again just to get back to where you died or failed the mission. The cab that drives you back to where you got the mission was a nice addition though, and should have driven you back to say the where the mission takes place and not where you get it from.

Little quirks, but the biggest thing is still no multiplayer support.. this game just cries online !! PC version maybe? hehe.. like GTA 3 was supposed to be :D

I would have to say the ONLY thing I don;t like about the game is heading North around 6:00 PM cause the sun BLINDS the crap out of you.

My only gripe :)

I hate when your running from the cops on a mission and that happens...also doing a really long wheelie and smacking into a car you can't see. I think it looks good though... :D

Something that happened to me was that I got into a vehicle while on the run from the law, and I immediately tried to speed off without closing the door and the cop was about 10 feet away from the car and it said busted!

Really gets on my nerves.

The thing I hate the most about Vice City are the annoying punk kids that come onto the forums and ask stupid questions like where something is that's on the map that came with the game.

Otherwise the only change I'd want is more control over my gang.  I'd like to be able to call on a few, like that Mario that won't shut up, to jump in my car and head off on a mission with me.  If I stole a bus I'd like to be able to haul a bus load of guys.

¤Public Enemy Number 1¤

NOTHING!!!!!! i love this game so much u know i dont think i will ever play gta3 again, oh and the camera isnt that bad for me i jus hate it when the sun gets all over ur screen but hey it happens in real life....

My only complaint is that you can't have ALL the weapons at once.  I hate having to give up one gun to pick up another one that is similar.

The music is NOT expendable.  That is one of the things that adds to the realism of the game.  Same thing with the sun in your eyes or the rain drops when it's raining.  It's about realism.  Back to music, Wildstyle rocks!  Where else are you gonna hear Afrikka Bambatta's "Looking for the Perfect Beat"?

Someone said that when you get 100% you are able to pick up 2 or 3 guys from your mansion to follow you around and help you take care of 'business.'
