Can I mod GTA: VC on PS2

I've always wanted to mod Vice City but I don't and never have had a good enough computer to run games so I just wonder if I could mod it for PS2. I know it will be more complex than modding a PC game, probably have to copy all of the files onto my PC, mod the ones I want and burn a new disk but I just wonder if its possible?

It's possible, but you will have to jump through several hoops just to get a working end product. Keep in mind that there is an overwhelming lack of support for PS2 modding for VC, and that nearly every mod for PC is not compatible with the PS2 version of the game. SA PS2 modding exists and is naturally more popular, but "popular" is still stretching it, as it's a small niche in the modding community.

 

I only know that VC PS2 modding should be possible because of those that have succeeded at modding SA for PS2, but I do not know if much headway has been made in modding VC for PS2 at all. My 2 cents: just save yourself the trouble and mod the PC version. It's simply not worth it to mod the PS2 version for GTA games aside from the satisfaction of having modded a PS2 game.

Thanks for the advice mate, I think I'll wait until I can afford a decent PC if its that difficult.

VC can run on pretty much everything. Doubt you need a "decent PC" to mod it
