A Text from Al Carter?

Last night I got a text on my phone while playing online from a Al Carter, who was not another character and had a photo of what looked like a bearded member of The Lost.

 

The text read "We're going kill you, asshole!"

 

 

At the time, I was searching out Gang Attacks and completing them. My first thought is that this has something to do with the Gang Attacks, seeing how I had done several involving The Lost...

 

Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean I have completed all the Gang Attacks...or at least all the ones involving The Lost?

Couldn't of been, I was in an invite only lobby and was all alone. Plus, Al's text had a picture- Other player's just have that silhouette photo, like Lester

This reminds me of that movie where these 2 kids play a virtual reality shooting game and stop fighting each other because they see another person within the game trying to literally kill them but he doesn't exist as a real person. I think it was a demon.

 

Never saw the full movie and can't remember the name. Saw it like 15 years ago. That one scene is still fresh in my mind

Sounds like you did over a certain amount of gang attacks in one session.I think sometimes you get a bounty put on you too, but think that's to do with the Merryweather gang attacks. Not too sure how many you have to do before you get the message or bounty

i know what it is...if you complete 5 gang attacks against the LOST MC you receive this text. I read it on GTA Wiki the other Day.

I get the feeling it is to keep the Gang Attacks fresh. If you complete them all on one session isn't that an achievement? So it seems like this is a way to distract you on between those.
