Email the name of the offender and he will get banned.

I don't remember his name anymore. I found out way later after searching for a particular car in free roam and cooking diner in between. How the hell can I find out who gave me all that?

Look at your Transaction Log at the Maze Bank ATM or Internet browser. His name should be there in the most recent Transactions unless you have bought a lot of stuff since then.

Makes perfect sense why Hackers are doing this. If everyone has ridiculous amounts of money, Rockstars job of weeding out the hackers becomes much more difficult.

 

I agree that it can ruin the immersion for the player who'd rather earn legit. Hope Rockstar can help you out.

Doubt he'l get banned, but do it as a precaution to preserve your own account from a ban.

 

Ps. To the lynch mob and others:-

1. No hackers yet been banned even people with hundreds of reports.

2. Its the hackers 2nd account, so they're not bothered by ban considering it taker them 5 seconds to make and maintain.

3. Lastly naming and shaming is pointless, just change lobby, report and move on.

Never glitched, cheated etc etc and there I am, proud owner of my new Vacca I've just bought for my 2nd character, on my way to pickup the high priority car for the bald fecker and suddenly, I'm alerted to having more than 5000 when I knew I only had about 1500 in the bank, I stop and see that a player(I'll hold his name for now) has given me $7,974992.

I msg'd him 'what the hell??', he then went on to give me another $17,309982 and then $6,689993. I now have $31,977770 in my bank.

 

I msg'd him 'dude, I don't want your money...how do I give it back?' then he left free roam. I an now totally pissed off, I don't want to do any missions etc that will add clean money on top of his filthy glitched sh*t. I've sent a report to R* explaining and asking them to remove it but I got a feeling I'll be waiting a long time. I was looking for to spending my day off playing this game and now I'm sat in my garage pressing down arrow every so often to avoid idle.

 

I can't think of any way I could blow the bitch to get it out of my bank....what the hell do I do to get my game cleaned ??

Give it to someone else who wants it and wouldn't feel that it would ruin their game. Or report it to Rockstar, that'd probably be the better thing to do, I'm sure they can have it removed from your person since all the files are on their cloud servers.
