I always thought the cheetah was the best looking car in the game but my entity is just so damn fun to drive. Was probably going to buy a cheetah anyway and now with the stimulus coming out that's probably what I'll spend it on.

I don't use mine as much as the Entity because I don't have it fully upgraded yet. It's a good looking car though and fun to drive. Black/Orange here.

I disagree. I own both the cheetah and the entity, and after many many consecutive nights driving with each, I find the entity not only is a faster car, but It actually handles much better with less chances of spinning out.

 

Surprising since it looks as though the Cheetah is much lower and more aerodynamic. Then again, physics don't mean anything in this game..

 

I would enjoy the cheetah more if the friggin cockpit wasn't made of black plastic and it didn't have that stupid black stripe down the front.

I got the Cheetah and the XF, and the Cheetah is my favorite without a doubt. I think the Cheetah is a better looking car that appeals more to me than the other supercars, but for races I will use the XF. The reason for this is that I feel that the Cheetah is so light that it flies off the road by a little bump from the Adder.

Whats your take on this car.... I like to choose it in races to be different from the pack. I think it handles turns amazingly well compared to the other super cars.

 

Is the top speed the only reason this car is not more popular?

 

From what I've seen its still able to keep up and win super races..so I'm really leaning towards this being my next purchase...

 

Plus the front end looks like it would make a nice ramp.

 

Edit: How about some pics of your customized Cheetahs..

 

For a long time it was my favourite car in the series, when you first jump into it in VC next to the diaz missions. It was the BEST. I literally haven't driven once since putting my copy of GTA V into the PS3. I've played over 100 hours too.

 

It's completely hideous now. They should release some sports classics models like the Z-Type and the Stinger from older GTA's, and the cheetah should have this shape. The Comet should be in there with the sports classics too, the traction on that was ridonkulous. Maybe the old Deluxo too, that was a beast in SA.

I have a fully upgraded cheetah, accelerates way faster that the other super cars at the start. A little lower top speed, but still competitive. Handles very good, a little slidey during high speed corners.

 

My car is identical to BuyMeTheMoon's car. Wine Red with Hot Pink pearlesant. White/chrome wheels.

Cool, will look into that! I ended up going with dark green for some reason, but I am waiting to unlock all the suspension mods, and all the paint mods and then truly look for the finished article.. I love the car though, I only have two sports cars in my garage, this and the carbio 9F, I want them to stand out, without having to go for the over the top yellows and pinks hah

I don't like it. It's ugly imo and for a car that costs 650k it has bad handling imo. I always hated driving it. I prefer Entity, Adder and other supers.

 

Bad handling? That's one thing the Cheetah is great at. I use it when i have a 9k bounty on my head, great fun.

People have different tastes, some people love the Entity or Adder, personally i like the Infernus and Cheetah better in terms of looks.

 

Although i think it looks better in Blue or all Black, i went with red and can't decide which type of red i prefer more.

I completely agree with you. The new Cheetah looks damn ugly and people should stop comparing it to the Enzo. But it's more of a personal preference. I like the Entity more than the Cheetah.

The Cheetah in this game is most def an underdog, I originally wanted to buy an Entity (not because it's super fast, but because I love the Koenigsegg's IRL) but the fact that not many people have a Cheetah and the fact that it's a Ferrini made me keel over. I threw on the Enzo/California looking wheels and my next plans are to paint it Giallo.

I like the Cheetah to, although I don't have one. (It's too fast, so I'm using a Vacca)

It's pretty much a Entity Jr to me.

Just a little slower & less grip.

A lighter car and fast - not the fastest. I dig this car and it handles okay. I laugh because I did a mission once with a crew in the 40's level,all on mic's and buddy said "Hey look,it's Batman".

I still laugh at that.

My favorite super car and one of my most driven cars. Great speed, great handling, just bad ass.

I only changed the wheels to the version of them with the colored inserts, the name escapes me.

Great car, beat 2 other Entities on a highway race with this.
