Has BAWSAQ ever worked on PS3? I have been playing since online started, never has it said anything but 'The market is down for maintenance. Please try again later'

I ask because I recently have seen some people talking about the market, manipulations ect. I just assumed it was another fail from rockstar and would be coming soon. But it seems I may have missed the boat on this one..

it will be coming soon man,they gotta get through there first initial 'teething' issues,even though it has been over a month now,wait for heists & more DLC etc.. so everyone has a solid RP and bank account,also waiting for all the COD noobs to leave so GTA:O true potenatial can be enjoyed by the true fans of GTA,everyone says this is dying & will be nothing soon,Rockstar hasnt even scratched the surface with their online content, anyone who paid attention to what Rockstar said before the release of GTA 5, will know this is just the beggining.

I have faith in the company. They brought me the awesome story line of Red Dead Redemption. No stuff up will change that. This is the best online Gta ever. Was just confused as I saw some people saying they were using it on ps3.

I sold gta and yes bought COD lol. But I will give it a few months for all the kinks to be ironed.This game has potential but man it has a ways to go.

Totally agree with posters comment about COD noobs! And for the peeps screaming about GTAV getting boring: well if anyone plays for hours straight as soon as they get it, we'll all be bored. If you stretch out the play time, give the company time to expand the online feature, this game has loads of potential!

Bawsaq was working when gta 5 first launched but was taken down about a week before gta online launched hasn't been back up since so they may have been talking about when it was working in sp mode. And def agree with the noob theory. It will all even out soon enough just hope they port online to ps4 and not let it die like gta San Andreas. They will be able to improve it greatly on next gen

I hope BAWSAQ is implemented soon. As far as COD.... servers have been pretty sparse since the release and it's been much more laid back. THANK YOU COD!!!

Beach bum and heists are going to come out while the BAWSAQ is still down, I doubt they ever put it back up to be honest.. why would you put out DLC and not have a key thing like that running again.

 

My money is on rockstar pulling it totally as its a means for people to make money and not spend it on shark cards.

This exactly..they don't want people to get rich without doing the grinding. I have banked sooo much money in singleplayer playing the BAWSAQ market that I have reached the money limit with Trevor. I guess R* (understandably) does not want this to happen in multiplayers as well.

Bait and switch tactics are a slap in the face.. not impressed with how they toned down and took away content that was released day 1 or was advertised pre-release.

 

Talk about killing your chances of ever breaking that sales record again.. I suspect the next GTA sells its copies over 3 months and not 3 days with players cautious of another fail.
