Do you guys think that other game developers /creators/ etc. play Gta online or watch the trailers when they were out. And it doesn't have to be just GTA but other games as well. Also, now this will be dumb but do you think other companies kind of 'get the codes' and all that from gta to improve their game with some of GTA game or other games.

Of course game devs play other companies games. If I made a game I'd probably burn myself out before it even launched.

Pretty much this. I mean, really only gamers become game devs, so... yeah.

Not sure what you referring to as 'codes' .. If you mean programming.. Doubt it, it's Rockstars tech and probably private.

 

If course their tech also uses other tech resources, like I think Euphoria for the physics stuff. Hopefully we see more of it in next gen, really raises the immersion factor for me.
