Patch 1.05 Changed Race & DM Payouts?

Hopped on last night after the latest patch, went to quick race and was put in Criminal Records (naturally) with 8 people. Payout for 1st was only $7000, normally it's 5 figures at least.

 

Then went and did a TDM, 2v2 first to 30 kills (yeah I was there awhile) and I got $13600 for winning with most kills. I've done 50+ TDM's and I never get more than 9-10k until last night.

 

Has anyone else noticed any payout changes?

in an 8 person criminal records i came 3rd and received the princely sum of $2300. I went back to freemode and hit an armoured truck.

I'm not too concerned whether they patched the RP in Criminal Records. I used that race to grind to level 100 and then stopped being interested in leveling any further. If leveling happens in the future, it happens, but "100" is the most aesthetically-pleasing level number I've seen, and I enjoy that being next to my character name.

That's what I mean, a full race of CR paying out <$10 000?

 

And a 4 person TDM giving $13 600? Imagine if the TDM was full and had 8 people

I won an 8 person 3 lap cr race today and only got 7100. so lame.

Thats the way it should be. I hope they DID lower the payout for races. Races are the easiest thing to do in this game, and the quickest, so they shouldn't be the highest payout. The hard mode co-ops and the deathmatches should always be more money than races. Races are easy to just get with a friend and let each other take turns winning. 1 laps races should be very low payout, and no race should be more than 10K for 1st place(only if it's high # of laps and 8 people)

 

Free aim mode should get a boost in money and reputation in co-ops too. The co-ops are way way harder in free aim than auto-aim. Every time I do a co-op in auto-aim, it just feels easy. Free aim is a challenge and should be rewarded for it.

It's still 13.6k if TDM was full. I just finished one a couple minutes ago, I guess it's whoever has most of the kills in a team that they get 13,600. Might depend on reaching the kill limit and time limit. Idk I'm just guessing.

Me too, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who likes DM's in GTAO, they're good fun especially on the better maps

Before the patch, I had never seen anyone get that much money in CR, even when we've had 6-8 people. I think around $7000 is the most I'd seen. But I might be remembering incorrectly, as I usually only race with a few people at once.

 

As for TDM, I've seen people get $13,500 as the #1 player on a team quite a few times. Maybe it was a certain DM. I'm not sure about that, but I definitely know I've seen that five figure amount before.
