Is this scalar per level? At R38 I was doing it with a buddy and we were getting 1.5rp total for 3 laps. Winner took 1k and 2nd took 480 or something. It seemed not so great.

The only difference right now for me, is whenever I rob a a store, I put my gun on the vendor and... nothing happens. He is not moving...

I can shot and destroy anything, but the guy doesn't give any money or whatever. But, after 10 seconds or so, after killing the vendor, I can take the money by myself, then get 2 or 3 stars. Happened to anybody else?

did you install your game to your hard drive? Rockstar said it wasn't a good idea to do that since it reduces frame-rate.

How do we know if the game is installed to the hard drive? I just don't remember that option when installing it but I have huge texture popping issues when driving around

did you install your game to your hard drive? Rockstar said it wasn't a good idea to do that since it reduces frame-rate.

 

All I have is disc 1 installed, and all I have is a 20gb HDD. So I don't see how this is a problem.

Scalar. I usually get about 20% worth of XP bar and that is a LOT more than 3k XP. Unless I`m blind as a bat... LOOKS like 5k for my level 90+ per first lap. Getting maximum RP for activity by end of lap 2 the latest, so I can`t really tell. Roughly 5 races for one level kinda sorta.

I feel the same way. I'll be playing this up until the One drops and then I'll be moving on. I've glitched money so I can enjoy the game as I'm not interested in grinding millions the old fashioned way. Also, anyone that has played in my lobbies with my friends usually gets taken care of after I kill them a bit. I'll call in a tank, drive up to a random person and get out so they can drive it around. My crew folks will put 10k bounties on each other so people can claim them and get some free cash, I leave all of my cars unlocked so people can drive them around, etc.

Seems they only fixed some loss progression issues. Nothing major like glitches or money deals. Which is fine, they need to work on those issues first then deal with the glitch kids later.. so count your cards kids.. it's coming.

 

Also, how about a fix on keep your crew/friends together in one match ffs.. do that and I'll be happy.

Wow, this thread.

 

But really guys, there was never any chance of this update fixing the latest glitches and exploits. Never. And it's because the update was already out of R*'s hands like 2 weeks ago and has been going through verification by Microsoft and Sony. At least that's the way things have worked since like the beginning of updates. I'm not saying they couldn't have tried to release some emergency hotfixes for some of the issues by now, but still, I don't know why anyone expected anything other than what they said they had worked on and what they said would be in the update.

 

I don't get why people think these updates are exactly like patches on PC games, 'cause they're just not. If you want to blame someone for how long it takes, then blame Microsoft--they're the ones that demand a 2 week verification process.
