The real question is WHY do guys want to be a female in a game anyways? Is there some kind of Ladyboy infatuation going on? Gross

I had no idea anybody would get so upset I made a female character. There wasn't anything underlying my decision besides I just played three male characters. Much more fascinating is what disturbs you so much. There's something downright Freudian I think.

 

I think what upsets users like this is that they feel sexual attraction towards your video game character. I mean look at his user name. Knowing that you are a dude in real life makes them feel edgy because that means essentially they are becoming attracted to another male. I'm betting these types are starved for female attention in real life, and they are almost always the ones who will try to hit on you or do the "thrusting" motion at you in game. They want everyone to use their real life gender so that when they feel sexual attraction toward video game characters they can be assured the person controlling that character is a chic, that way they won't feel like they are "homosexual" when they try to hit on you in the game.

 

Couldn't explain it better. Why does it REALLY matter if I'm a female character on a VIDEOGAME? I've got a few friends who point that to me sometimes but they don't care really.

I find it weird how people hit on someone in a video game that is online and probably nowhere near you in real life.

 

Say if I was actually a girl, and someone hit on me on a video game I know for sure I would block them, think they were weird and just pathetic lol.

 

There's dating websites for that sort of thing.

I am a guy and I play with a female avatar. I am a metalhead so I dress her the way I'd like to see a female fellow metalhead. I don't like to dress her in a slutty way and I don't like bright colors either so most of the clothes I buy for her are black. I did get her the Valentine's clothes (bustiers, stockings and panties), but I never make her wear those. She mostly wears pants or leggings, some times shorts and ocasionally a miniskirt, also leather or denim jackets over some t-shirt or tank top. She has only two tattoos (all the female avatars I've seen so far are covered in ink). The only "weird" thing about her is that I bought her the all-black contacts. I don't have many pictures of her at the moment, but I'll post these:

A friend often uses a female and he never wears anything even slightly feminine and it annoys me. Feel like I am running around with a dyke all the time, I wanna see all those fancy clothing options you ladies get.

The female characters really get quite a bit of variation in clothes. It bothers me that all I ever see is characters dressed wearing almost nothing. I go for a bit of variation depending on where my character is or whatever, and only ever resort to a bikini when at the beach/water.

Keeping GTA real.

My female was my second character after leveling up my dude to 165. I was bored so I decided to play the game like she was a mercenary (in missions, not by being an ass in freeroam) by only having one car, not wasting ammo and not blowing money on things I wouldn't use. She is the primary bread winner. lol

 

From then, my dude was the millionaire playboy who just rinsed through money.

 

Named her Minerva after the Roman goddess of war and wisdom.

there frm the independence day dlc it was a limited time item you could buy. they are no-longer available

I agree, I almost feel sad for these people. I mean, even if the person playing the avatar really is female, that doesn't necessarily mean they'd be desirable in real life. They could easily be fat or obese, in their 30's or older, have stretch marks from their illegitimate children, prematurely aged skin and gross teeth from years of tanning, smoking and alcohol abuse, and all sorts of other baggage (emotional instability, low educational achievement, debt and financial irresponsibility, etc.) ON TOP OF most likely living very far away.

 

If the simple fact that someone is female is enough to get that much of a rise out of them, that tells me that they set the bar extremely low when it comes to females to the point of having almost no standards, where they would be willing to get with almost anyone...and that leads me to the conclusion that they are most likely involuntary celibates as well, since men with options tend to be a lot harder to impress and more selective of mates. That seems like it would be a pretty depressing existence.

I managed to replicate Babydoll from Sucker Punch with my female character quite effectively. Not exactly normal, but she doesn't look like any other female I've seen around either.

I prefer to dress my toon according to whatever mood I'm in. If I'm feeling sexy, I'll put her in a miniskirt or short shorts with a cropped top or bikini top & high heel boots. If I feel cute, it's usually cropped jeans, an off-shoulder top or tank, and canvas shoes. If I'm not feeling well (TMI, but ya know..if it's that time of the month or something), I'll put her in baggy-ass stuff--baggy jeans or those cropped sweatpants with a tank top or hoodie. I also tend to dress her for how the weather is where I'm at. Haha. I'm a weird-o. I change my toon's clothes almost every day, pretty much.

My female has a few themed outfits saved, none of them a really slutty or over the top stupid, most of them are normal. This is the only outfit I have a picture of at the minute.
