Natural look, skeleton hoodie, pair of those slate jeans(With the legs tucked up slightly, blanking out on what their name is), and just a pair of red and black sneakers.

I made my girl kind of a tomboy I suppose. I made her and my male char around the same style.

Seriously? you bumped it with just that and then waited 8 hours to post again?

That's a great way to get in trouble for bumping a topic with spam.

It's my topic originally. And plus, with most of these threads turning into a show your character thread (for females), I figured I'd update this thread. A lot of threads were buried a while back, and this is a good one.

Not A Nice Person

I only wear the new boots, leggings, and tank tops. Before I wore shorts, Jackets, And the uggs. Maybe put on black business pants and jack with the black tank top to look elegant.

So I just had a three way mission with two girls

(I may or may not be drunk, irl obviously)

I did not take this out of context in any way, shape or form.

Nope, not at all.

Metal Slime

I find dude avatars running around shirtless with short pants, flipflops and weilding pink weapons more odd.

I go with a few options.

Late-night, made-for-cable, action movie look is black leather biker, plaid skirt, stilettos.

Practical mission look is usually one of the normal shirts, cargos, and some kind of low boot or sneakers.

Typical look tends to be somewhat of an '80s pop star look--currently rocking the new sunset leggings, pink leather jacket, cropped tank, purple combat boots, pink accent cowboy hat, with all sorts of accessories (aviators, necklace, earrings, watch, leather wristband). Went as tacky as possible...makes me a rather visible target though.

Don't take many pics though.

Still trying to figure out a solid replica of Harley Quinn's look--missed out on the domino masks a while back and don't have the CE hammer so my options are somewhat limited (and the blond pigtails kinda look like crap).

Mr.Raspberry Jam

I either dress like a business woman or in casual clothing. I always wear glasses though because the female characters online either look like meth addicts or a man dressed as a woman.

I am still surprised this thread is still alive. And keep it alive! But anyway, for my female char, I still try my best to dress her modestly and casually. I'm so tired of seeing dudes put their females in like, a bra and some short shorts. Like, really? lol anyway, here's a few pics I took recently of Rebeccah.

I personally don't have a female avatar, but we have a couple of women in our crew that dress their avatars in as normal a manner as can be expected for a group of criminals.

One girl is our designated sniper so she tends to prefers clothing with camo prints, jeans, and her trademark Army hats. She also tends to wear knee boots over other kinds of shoes..

The other girl is our wheelperson. She is fond of leather jackets, jeans, and canvas shoes.

Sometimes they goof off and arrive in deathmatches dressed in bikinis, but most of the time they are dressed tactically.

I just dress my avatar in what I think looks good, or what I'd opt to wear if I were living in LS (and hadn't been riddled with bullets/stabbed repeatedly/bludgeoned to death/run over by a tank/blown up yet).

So, fairly normal, I guess. Off shoulder tops with leggings, shorts with tank tops, denim jackets with tank tops, skirts and knee boots. That kibd of thing.

Okay, now THAT is cool. That is exactly what I wish I could see more of. People dressing according to their roles and stuff. I think that adds more to the experience.

Here is a typical paraphrase from one of our chat sessions:

Me: Okay, we're gonna do A Titan of a Job again so Phil can get some flying time in.. "ilsa," when we get to the airport, set up shop on the runway and tell me when you have a shot lined up. Clear out as many mercs as you can and we'll mop up the rest.

"Ilsa": (Looks at the white, strappy sandals on her avatar's feet) YOU EXPECT ME TO GET QUALITY HEADSHOTS WHILE WEARING THESE SHOES?

Oh, boy.....Here we go again....

Haha! That is pretty sweet that you have designated jobs or spots. Sounds like a "real" crew. The last crew I was in had a few girls that only came on for the attention unfortunately.

Interesting thread! I took a different approach with my female character and created the roughest possible looking chick I could lol, and I dress her like she just busted out of the prison. I like to think she got sentenced to life and has slowly been plotting her escape over the years, and is now on the loose and out for revenge on the jurors who voted to put her away lol No makeup or skanky clothes for her lol

Nice pics!!! That's a groovy concept too. I think it adds a gritty and realistic approach to how some women can be sometimes. I'm surprised a jailbreak isn't possible in online! Your character looks RUFF... but maybe being on the outside will help with rehabilitation?

I completely agree! I am really looking forward to the rumored Mission Creator that is supposed to be released at some point because I will definitely be trying to create a mission involving a jail break. I can't believe Rockstar hasn't worked that in somehow lol

As for my character, no way. She's been sulking for years, and all of that hostility has built up and turned her into a hardened killer. Being on the outside will probably make her even rougher as she kills more and more. To think, it all happened because she got put away for shoplifting a designer scarf back in the 1980s.... lol

Glad to see this thread revived.

I went Online for the first time in months and saw that they added dresses.
Is it just me or do they look a little too cutesy for this game? What's worse is that none of the hairstyles match any of the dresses. They need really feminine, longer hairstyle to work. Also, it would be cool if you could wear them with a jacket, to make them look more casual.

I change the clothes a couple times, everytime I play. Sometimes it's normal and sometimes it's for giggles, but I always have the skull tattoo on because it's thr one thing I wanted from the start and I think it actually suits my character.

Agreed, there all a bit like Grandma's dress to me. Neither those r the flapper ones really fit imo

I really do, that's the main reason of why I use the female avatar, there's a lot of clothes and good combinations, I don't get what's the attractive in having all the possible tattoos at the same time, stocklings, bikini and facial paint. Same for male avatars, only a short, glasses, tattoos, flip-flops or mask. It's like if they wanted to be the guy of the song 'El Tatuado' in East LS FM. Seriously, whoever knows what the song says, they're talking of all the kids in the game.

One of the most arkward moments in GTA Online was the time my mom helped to dress my female avatar. Was funny because after that she kept half hour sh*tting at my driving skills.

the hipster update actually added clothes i own irl mainly the black an white striped pants but thats how i tend to dress tight jeans long shirt leather jacket.... hat... sun glasses... an thats how i normally dress my character, i go bikini and underwear if im just messing around with my friends, or bored, i dig tattoos so i like to look at them since my character has them all usually means taking clothes offf even if it looks like sh*t to other people, dont care what people think about really its my character i can do what i want... I use no make up because i like it that way, and vary the hair often.

id like to put boots over some pants or more skate shoes / sneaker options ( i skate ) and strap boots that arent high heels (sooo many high heels!)

better hair cuts especially long ones, I actually want to used the one side shaved head one because thats how i have my hair cut irl but the otherside of my hair goes down to my waist.. its too short in gta..

I've been wondering when they'll allow us to put boots over pants, jackets over shirts w/collars, etc. I have a feeling that they're saving that for the PS4 version (will that version also have a new GTA Online?)

I haven't seen the flapper ones, but you're spot on with the Grandma ones. They wouldn't look so bad for a late brunch, but for a store robbery? I'm not feeling it. Good idea, so-so execution.

Hopefully they'll introduce some monochromatic dresses soon.

Flapper ones were the valentines day ones, not bad but a bit ott. Also came with some awful looking gloves that couldn't be removed

49.jpg

I'd like some standard dresses like you'd see everyday, not the film star or grandma style.

EDIT: On the jackets bit, since the last two updates at most you've been able to put some jackets over the off the shoulder tops which is a start. I'd like to be able to wear the suit jackets over the shirts. And yes yes yes on boots over Jeans, cargos or leggings

That flapper dress is pretty nice (though I've always had a mild obsession with 20s fashion, so I'm a bit bias), but those gloves...yikes.

Agreed on the suit jackets over the shirts. They'll look less tacky that way imo. Though sometimes I wear a suit jacket over a sports shirt.

Some of those leggings weren't bad.

Also, we need thigh-high boots. I don't care if they're impractical or not. If they look half-way decent on those grimey-looking strippers, they'll look awesome on our characters xD

Be cool to get some trench coats too. Sometimes I like to make my character look sophisticated (I mostly give her suit jackets, suit pants, heels, and shades).

I'm guilty of throwing facepaint and wacky clothes on mine, mostly because I've stopped caring about the clothing options and prefer to weird people out in missions. All of the female clothes are either really ugly looking, really hip looking, or make me feel like a stripper. The most comfortable option I've found is throwing a leather jacket over a sleeveless shirt, but it's still not perfect.

e: But really I'm just awful at dressing video game characters.
