So I started a new game and spawned in a random player's garage, but with just me about:

 

 

I drove off in the 9F Cabrio, and simply drove it back in and now it's mine, tracked and insured:

 

 

1. What the hell?

2. Is this your car?

3. What do I do with it? It's worth more than any of my cars, but I can't sell it at Los Customs.

4. Get rid of your dam tow truck.

Edit: I doubt the original owner of the car lost his car, but still it would be funny to come onto these forums and see your car in someone else's garage lol.

 

Edit2: Use the supercar sell glitch to sell it lol.

Actually think R* are missing a trick here - you have the ability to hack computers in various missions - they should allow the option to try and hack peoples entry system to the garage...only for players in your session though...

I wanted to but it's that sort of vigilante justice that got me wearing this stupid hat.

I thought the same about the original owner haha I wanna know whose car I've got.

 

And what's this supercar glitch? Did a YouTube search but people seem to have trouble doing it properly on the video I checked out

Me too, couldn't believe it when the door opened. I thought the main issue would be driving back in, either cause it's someone's PV or because you have to purchase it.

Just realised that the car I owned that was in the same spot of my garage as the Cabrio that I took has now disappeared. Guessing the game's got confused and thought they were the same.

This happened to me too a while ago. I kept joining new sessions while in my garage trying to look for one that was almost full. One time, I joined and I was in a garage with the two collectors edition cars in it, nothing else. I could drive it out and dive it around, and it said it was my personal vehicle. But I couldn't store it in the garage.

Last night when I was playing there was a random person in my garage for a few seconds, but when I checked the game lobby their name wasn't there. I don't think they took anything...

Unless you got a modded PS3, you can`t. People tried it and if you try to park it, says something like "DLC not found/active" whatever text that is informing you that you don`t have the content.

 

Short answer: Modded console or bust! Or wait for future microtransaction.

I noticed lately the game wants to put me in someone else's garage or someone else in my garage. it only lasts for a split second but its like the game is having a hard time with people using the same garage at the same time.

 

last night my truck was going in at the same time someone was coming out and our trucks got stuck inside each other. then I get signed off-line with a message about some error code.

The game's definitely struggling with garages. Before this I've had moments where a hobo NPC was in my garage, and earlier today my sheriff SUV was bouncing up and down and side to side on it's own accord, just sitting in my garage. Weird.
