Hosting and launching jobs problems

Hey!

 

Hosting:

 

How an earth do you get people to join the game you host?

I can wait for 10+ minutes without one person joining my race, I do Auto invite and play and have matchmaking "Open" and still no luck. I often play on free aim for free roam and deathmatch servers but I change to Traditional GTA when I want to race as I presume there is a larger community in there.

 

Launching Jobs:

 

Quite often when I find a job with other players, once the mission has launched I will be in the mission on my own, I normally just leave as I find it boring dong missions without friends/online members and im getting bad sports for this .

 

My internet is normally fine with any other online game and my speeds are good (30MB fiber optic virgin media)

Is it my internet connection or is this just really buggy?!

I don't know why but if you keep clicking skilled matched players it searches for more people. I just sit there and spam it and players join? Anyone else notice this as well?

Hmm ok I will try that and let you know if this helps, should be pretty easy to find results as I'm lucky to get 1 person in 10 mins.

 

Also does anyone know a method to how to get your job to say "the top of the list"? when people search quick race/mission etc they get put into a random one and more often then not, the room will fill up ridiculously quick. Lots of times I have been say the 2nd and 3rd person to join a race and within 10 seconds its full 16. Perhaps Opening and Closing your Matchmaking every so often may help? as a refresh?
