Finally in the Bad Sports Lobby

Been playing since launch and ever since my first experience of the buzzard I've been on the sterner warnings for bad sport.

Got killed when unarmed by a random in a riot van so I tracked him down and grenade launchered the van, and then again when he came at me with the black riot van. Both were PVs.

Gotta say it's pretty crap going around with a hat saying "DUNCE" and only playing with others with these pointy hats on looking like a bunch of morons.

Done some racing and it was solely CR/DtD, survival one quit other killed me on completion, everyone shoots on sight and spawn killing/pause killing is all the rage.

I can't play with friends. I can't dupe the docker.

Bleurgh. Summary: bad sports sucks. Sorry Rockstar I will stop blowing up cars.

But ive just been killing the sh*t out of people. of course i do that in clean lobbies but blew up too many cars iwth my f*cking auto pistol.

Does anyone know about this commend for commend stuff? Was on for an hour in free roam and got a message twice about it.

Start Menu -> Online -> Players -> Select Player -> Commend. (Didn't turn on my xbox to check but that should be it)

 

If a player is commended it will shorten their time in bad sport as far as I heard, If someone does it to you I think its good manners to do it back to them.

Cool, thanks for the info Seanathon. Commended both haven't noticed much of a difference in the timer that pops up. Will have to see I guess.

Every time you get it again i think it doubles. I went 2,4,8, now im wondering if its 16.

 

It really sucks cause im blowing up cars iwth guns. Andi f you do drive bys with friends one of you always blows up the car. sh*t is stupid. You caiscally can only snipe people.

The only thing I like about Bad Sport is how everyone says they were sent there for destroying one or two personal vehicles in self defence. The fanciful stories always make me laugh!

Wow that sucks. Pretty harsh doubling each time. I'm curious to know how many cars I gotta blow up to have a second stint. Anyone know if it resets or what?

I've got about an hour left until my stint is done in the bad sports lobby. Got mixed feelings about it.

 

On one hand it's annoying trying to do non-free roam stuff. For the first time I was getting kicked out of racing lobbies, a lot. Races I did get involved were 90% 1 laps, supers, custom on... though I did join a 20 lap race on CR which was a good race. Harder to host decent Survival sessions or missions.

 

On the other hand, free roam was a blast. Was pretty quick to realise it's not the place to do normal stuff like mod cars. First trip to LSC ended with a sticky bomb at the entrance. Second attempt involved a rocket launcher to the windscreen as I turned the corner.

 

After that I enjoyed the chaos of it. Tanks trying to blow you up, being taken by surprise by a chasing Buzzard and having to dodge missiles in an epic chase, constant massive death matches, the fact that if you're on passive everyone wants you dead. Good fun.

I'm not a bad sport yet, but I see myself heading there. I killed this d*ck who had just sprung his car from the impound lot, but it was beat all to hell. Only took two shots to blow it up, so I had to pay. Love those sticky bombs too.

 

Besides, bad sport sounds like fun except for the stupid hats. Might be seeing you soon. I'll try to look at it as a positive experience:
